Airship!

i am in the process of designing a custom airship. I have had the image in my head for awhile and this morning i finally decided to get a quick outline done.

i figure i could get some creative input and criticism from everyone here

so without further ado, here is my 20 minute mock up job (i got distracted and dabbled with too much detail in some spots but ohwell)

as some background information, this Airship is not meant to be a free floating one (no Balloons), it will be run off of Magic. and thus even hovering will drain the ship, so therefore i added landing struts so it could land somewhere on the outskirts of town to drop off or pickup supplies. it can also land in water. the airship is going to be used for story lines far down the line for my character, but i figured i might as well start work on the beast.

I don't know anything about airships, but that's a nifty little sketch! I had a lot of fun researching airship deck layouts when I did an rp with one ages ago, I ended up using this for most of my reference (http://www.airships.net/lz127-graf-zeppelin/interiors). I don't know if that helps, but it's neat to look at, at least.

that does help a bit with the layout interor, i just havent gotten around to doing the top down view or design what the engine looks like. but thanks for the reference material!

That's a pretty awesome design. Quite a deviation from your standard dirigible-type, and the whole thing looks rather sleek.

and i spent two hours designing this last night, it took out two birds with one stone as i needed to come up with a design for golems anyways, and i figured all i would have to do was use the outer shell and i could connect it to the machine that powers the ship. i just cant figure out what to put on his thighs!
