Personality:
Cicilix is generally a happy and social girl and she usually gets along well with people. She is easy-going and doesn’t seem to be very serious about anything but can be incredibly stubborn and once she decides on something she won’t let it be any other way. However she is quite embarrassed about her lack of knowledge about the world and can get really mad if someone points this out.
Appearance:
Coming from a line of humans Cicilix looks farily ordinary. An affair between her grandmother and a dwarf whoever has made the generations after that far shorter and ‘sturdier’ than before. Cicilix herself is short and a bit round, although most of her weight is muscles. This is a good thing in fights but when it comes to running she falls behind pretty quickly. She has long, black hair which is always kept neatly brushed and two grey eyes looks at the world with an energy that can sometimes scare people. Her face is, apart from her eyes, pretty ordinary, round and neither ugly nor pretty.
History:
Cicilix is born and raised in the city of Scara Brae. Her parents are both tailors and it is a long tradition in the family, therefore the name ‘Tailor’. Once their family was quite famous for their clothes but nowadays they earn just enough to live without too much trouble.
Cicilix is the oldest child with three younger siblings, two sisters and one brother between the ages of 13 and 17. Since she is the oldest it is hoped that she one day will take over the tailoring work from her parents and they have worked hard on teaching her everything they know about the trade. Cicilix herself however has never really been interested in this, she has learned what they wanted her to learn just to keep them off her back but every chance she got she ran off in the city, exploring, fighting and making mischief with her friends.
Overall Cicilix childhood was a good one. She helped her parents at home with the shop and her siblings and in her free time she was with her friends.
When she turned 18 she and her friends, and also her younger brother who was 16 at the time, started their own ‘adventurer’ gang in the city, just for fun. They would try to snap up secrets and investigate them exploring every bit of the town they thought no one knew about. It was all fun and games until one day Cicilix’ best friend, a boy named Quasim, overheard a secret that he wasn’t supposed to hear. He told only Cicilix, saying that he wanted to look into it himself before telling the others, ‘just in case it’s actually a real secret’. And it really was. It was apparently a big enough secret that after a week Quasim was found dead in an alley. Cicilix was told that the Scourge was behind it but nothing more.
Quasim’s death hit Cicilix really hard and it took a long time for her to accept his death. But with the acceptance there came a thirst for revenge and she became determined to avenge her friend’s death. The only problem was that she had nothing to go for, except the Scourge, since he never told the secret even to her.
But she wouldn’t let that stop her. She told her parents that she no longer wanted to take over the tailoring business and then she left her home with nothing more than a few saved coins and an old dagger which she had gotten from her grandfather.
Skills:
Brawl fighting - she is used to get into fights with her bare hands and is quite good at it.
Tailoring - she is a very good tailor.
Sense of orientation - she is good at knowing where she is and remember where places are. She can find her way through the city in a heartbeat and has easy to learn new cities.
Climbing - she is good at climbing at most places, especially houses and roof tops.
Abilities:
Low light vision - as long as there is some light she can see clearly. In complete darkness however she is as blind as everyone else.
Detect lies - Cicilix background in the streets has made her very good at sensing other people's motives and to know when they are lying. However this has made her herself very bad at lying herself.
Accuracy - her skills with the needle and in fights have made her very accurate with both hands and weapons. She never misses her target, even if it is your head or your heart.
