Crafters Three

Closed to Elthas(I hope the bunny is ok)

The three twins had donned loose white shirts, black jeans, and cloaks inscribed the the Trading Company's symbol. He walked into an old tavern to meet the quest monitor, Elthas? So they walked into the old place, sat down at a table, called out for a drink and threw another coin onto the table, and waited.

"He should come soon" Venoxis muttered.

The door to the small establishment banged open, and a man stepped in, wearing cheetahskin robes. He sat down at the table and raised an eyebrow at the twins.

"You needed a weapon my friend?"

Taking in the atmosphere of the old tavern, it was on one of the outskirts of Radasanth. It was more like a slums area, but it was still patrolled by a strong military presence. Elthas did well to avoid those guards when he could. He never made any direct eye contact, he never attempted to draw too much attention to himself. The buildings were somewhat run down in this area of Radasanth. Elthas's sharp eyes spotted the escape routes he would need in case things got hot. The quest monitor of The Trading Company walked with a confidence in his step. He had a leadership position and commanded a certain authority with that position. His boots stepped quietly on the paved road, his cloak swishing about with each movement. He moved with the grace and speed and of a cheetah and soon found himself upon the tavern in question. He'd agreed to meet with several The Trading Company operatives at the tavern.

Twitching, his sensitive ears picked up the various tidbits of information and gossip that was conversed over ale. The smell of cannibus was thick in the air, as well as simple incense smoke. Though the external portion of the building looked quite run down, it's innards were lively. There were several tables occupied by a sordid cadre of individuals. Many were regulars to the joint, and a few were newcomers. Elthas recalled hearing about the joint from his subordinates on a number of different occasions. As he sat down his gaze was caught by the attention of the trio sitting nearby. He immediately recognized The Trading Company symbols upon their vestments. Elthas guessed that at least one in their party was an officer. When the question was asked, Elthas nodded simply. "That is not the only reason I am here." Elthas said carefully. "I am also here to see what other services and wares can be exchanged tonight." Elthas had learned the business side of things long ago. "And perhaps, to pay for your drinks and dinner." He smiled at that last part and leaned back against his comfortable chair.

Brand

Brand ducked in and smirked at the insane mingling of gossip, hatred, and drunken debauchery. He walked to a table with three men in robes. And another. In robes. He waved a hand and the trio vanished, and he sat down, a small TTC symbol done in thread on his arm. The rest of his arm was covered in thread in a depiction of two mages dueling.

"The twins. Are. Preoccupied. You saw them go, and i saw Veno's brothers vanish. I took their place in the council."

He held out his hand, calloused, burnt, yet looked, so, perfect. Age worn. It had seen much, and so had he, from the scars over his left eye, and the black stripe down the center of his left arm. Inked into it seemingly. It looked as if his glowing orange eyes flickered, as if they had seen too much for one lifetime.

"Brand Phoenixeye, Financial Master, Art Mage. Golem. Many things."

He called for two ales, and then settled into the cair, taking out a small block of wood, and started muttering under his breath as chips started falling off.

Sometime passed.

His companions, much to the disappointment of their host seemingly left. Elthas did not like the fact that they had left on an important Trading Company meeting. He figured that such ranking officers would take the job a little more seriously and at least attend a full meeting. He sighed, and took a long pull of his lager. He hadn't yet ordered dinner, but would once he'd managed to calm himself down. Before his newer guest arrived and explained the whole situation to him, Elthas was looking at a menu on the table. It was a fairly classy joint, one that had a lot of candles in a candle holders, and a good smell and vibe about it. Some clientele actively smoked cannibus herb. Elthas's sharp nostrils picked up the distinct smell of the sweet herb. He was getting ready to order dinner, when the newcomer introduced himself and sat down at the table.

Elthas blinked for a moment. Something had occurred that he was not able to explain. He sighed. One thing he really disliked was people rescinding on a kind offer made by Elthas. Elthas just wanted to get the ball rolling with The Trading Company. He was there to get some new recruits, and by the damned Thayne, he would do it! Elthas listened as "Brand" explained, albeit very vaguely, what had just occurred. Elthas politely shook Brand's hand in return and watched the stranger sit.

"I'll treat you dinner." Elthas said. "I was just about to order." Elthas had the description of the job that needed doing in his personal packs. However, that business could wait. Dinner was the affairs of the hour. Elthas did feel pretty hungry and decided that he would be the one to hand Brand a menu. "Here." Elthas said casually. "Feel free to order what you wish. They make good steaks and poultry here."
