(I'm tweeking this just slightly. When I wrote it the first time there were many ideas I planned to use but now believe they are just clutter in here. I've also sharpened my descriptions of the skills, and Curses. Nothing will alter anything Solomon has done in past threads though.)

Name: Solomon
Race: Xry
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Height: 6'
Weight: 229 lbs
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Grey

Appearance: Tall and Bulky. His hair is short and layered about his head reaching above his ears and down to the base of his head. He wears a black martial arts gee and light weight boots.

Personality: Friendly, yet cautious. He does not simply give away his friendship, but he allows others to prove their friendship. He initially holds others with respect until they prove him otherwise. He is rarely seen smiling, he always seems to be thinking of something other than the moment he is in (Unless it’s a battle, then all his focus is on beating his opponent).

Weapons: Martial arts. He has dedicated his life thus far to this art and has become formidably skilled. His belief in 'energy' which comes from the core of the body enhances his physical abilities (See Skills for more info)

Armor: Black Gi

Items: Medication, Snowglobe of himself being stabbed by Garret

Skills: Solomon's skill 'Fatal Vision' is a pair of strong energy beams shot from his eyes. The beams are good for weakening an opponent and can be used 3 times per battle maximum. It does not automatically reset after each battle either. He has to receive adequate rest before the counter resets itself.

Physical Abilities: In place of standard weapons, Solomon relies on his hand to hand combat. The training he had received from his father concerning his alien heritage speaks boldly about their race's ability to hone energy to strengthen the body. Solomon has spent many years training, and has doubled the endurance normally displayed within humans (Strength, Speed, Defense, Agility, Stamina) yet is still far from what his heritage has lore of.

Alert Sleeper: This isn't a very formidible skill by any means. It is a technique he leared in his martial arts training. He has the ability to sleep lightly when he is on his own and wake up promptly if something is suddenly threatening him.

Eradication Beam: Solomon's signature move. It is a poweful force of light energy that spreads from his palm like a lampshade. It's designed to grind the target into an obvilion. However, it is still in its early stages and cannot yet do such a thing. It calls for a great deal of focus from Solomon, and takes a round to summon the strength for it. It lasts only 6 seconds, and is best saved for a finishing blow. The beam is large enough to engulf a standard humanoid, but if they still have a lot of fight left in them they can merely leap aside of it and beat on Solomon while he's immobile. Simmiliar levels feel a nasty burn from the beam, and lower levels feel a terrible brun from the beam. It is not instant death by any means. Higher levels vary. Some may feel a fair amount of pain, and some may even be able to deflect it back at him (Depending on character skill of course.)

Eyes of Life: This is one of Solomon's most vital skills. It is the ability to pick up other people's 'life signs' (or, energy) and either locate them or track them down. Since Solomon just learned this skill and is not yet completely familiarized with it, it has limited capabilities. Solomon can grasp a person's identy by being within touches range of them, and having a moment to get a feel for their character. Whether that be though eye lock, handshake, chit chat, etc. He can only track one identity at a time and only for a range of 2 miles. Once he knows a person's identity he can seek them out at any time so long as they are within the 2 mile radius. To seek them out he requires a deal of mental concentration, approximately 10 minutes of meditation, to do so. He cannot affect them by sensing them or anything like that, he merely locates them and knows what direction to go to find them. He'll be able to give decent estimates of how far away they are, and when they're about to come into visual range.

Curses: This isn't a common field to follow the skills category, but as you'll see in the history of the Xry, they are sensitive to effects of the world. Solomon's heritage makes him sensitive to the lunar cycle of this world. Since he currently has his feathers clipped he does not mutate into a bird like creature. Yet, because his feathers are not there he grows weaker in the full moon light, and in the Blue moon light, he is more or less powerless. His feathers will stay gone so long as he takes his medication. If he does not they grow back, and after two months they will be large enough to make Solomon sensitive enough to become the griffion. While he is mutated he has aboslutely no control over what he does. However, he goes to great lengths to stop the mutation from happening.

History:

(The Race of Xry)
Many people who see a Xry often believe them to be humans, as there are many similarities between the two races. The biggest difference between a Xry and a human is the base of the head. Where humans normally grow hair Xry grow long feathers instead. Many Xry who no longer reside on their home world decide to have their feathers clipped, as on some worlds the feather roots can cause a mutation in genetic structure due to sensitivity. The mutation depends on the elements of the world, and may only be set off during certain events such as a full moon, a blue moon, solar eclipse, etc. One of the most common mutations is a 18' tall griffon. Although, other transformations have been noticed, they usually involve a bird like creature.
The Xry also live longer than humans do. Since their history depends strongly on the ability to fight, the young are trained until they are considered to be in their prime age. Prime age lasts from age 30 to age 70. From 70 to 110 a xry is considered a seasoned fighter. From 110+ they are considered elderly and live to be roughly 130 years of age. The effects of age are slower in Xry's than in humans, and they have been known to be formidable well into their elderly days.

(History of Solomon)
Solomon's life mainly revolves around battle and training on his home world of Xrysis. As a young boy Solomon was taught by his father how to battle, and how to leave as the victor. His father would always teach him the importance of using the energy of life to empower his body.
They did extensive martial arts review together, applying the teachings of discipline, mental focus, strength, and respect to their battles. Soon enough, Solomon realized he had potential as a fighter, and began his own journeys to test himself.
After Solomon had began to realize his energy, and make a name for himself, his father decided to pass on a very powerful technique to him. He taught to Solomon "Fatal Vison" which is a way to channel energy through the retinas of the eyes. Solomon picked up on this skill faster than anyone else had. This made his father then realize that his son would someday surpass him.
Solomon had no living mother. Him and his father lived by themselves up on a steep hillside on Xrysis. Just as Solomon's 9th Birthday rolled around a fierce battle broke out in the region. The intensity of it soon became a global threat to the planet of Xrysis, and attracted the attention of the Gectochins, a rivalling race of Xry.
The Gechtochins and the Xry battled for some time, but then it became apparent to Solomon's father that the amounts of energy generated by the battle would be too much for the planet to take. So he and Solomon escaped from the battle in their shuttle, only to crash upon this world several weeks later.
One year passed, and nothing was heard of Xry's fate. The two refugees decided to erect a house somewhere off the western coast where they had landed. Here they continued their training in secret for the next 7 months. Although, one night, when Solomon as only 11 years old his father and he were meditating outside when the shadows of the full moon became blue. This initiated a mutation within Solomon's father (Solomon's feathers were not affected because he was not old enough to be subjected to the genes) and he became a huge griffon, and attacked Solomon. Solomon was terrified, he had never heard of such things happening. The griffon tore up the house, and broke Solomon's body in several places. Solomon did not mean to kill his father when he did, only to wound him.
Solomon pulled all his energy to him, and shot the griffon with a the most powerful fatal vision attack ever. The bird fell from the sky. Solomon was all alone.
From here Solomon salvaged everything he could from the house, and he moved toward the northerly regions of Salvar. He had began to realize that it was the feathers which inticed the mutation through his fathers studies, and so he paid a monk to remove the roots for him. The monk told him he must have a certain medication every month in order to prevent the feathers from growing back. This is what Solomon has been doing to this day. Solomon reached the cold world of Salvar where he could be alone. He used his strength to build himself a cabin, and he only left it for food and drink until he was 16 years old.
Now he had begin to put his past behind him. Solomon made some improvements on his shelter, and turned it into a suitable home. He created himself a room for training in which he tested all his skills, and tried to surpass them. Now that he had reached the prime age for combat in Xry Males. He has decided to go out and practice what he has learned now that he is of his people's prime age. Since then he has been out along the lands seeing new places and testing how far he can push himself. In his mind he doubts himself, and believes that he never really finished his training. Still, he hold himself guitly for what happened to his father and does not like to talk about what happened with anyone.
He is often mad at himself for not trying hard enough, and for not living up to what he feels his father intended him to be. Even though he always does his best, in the end he often feels he had been beaten by himself.
