Concerning the new Star Wars series...

I'm bittersweet about a new villain, I'm not sure about this guy being cannon and all but HE STILL LOOKS TOO EPIC!!! :O
I really hope they bring Ahsoka Tano back, that would be the one thing that would make this look any better...

All I can say is that I trust you, Dave...

I certainly have my doubts, but I do trust Filoni much more than Lucas, so yeah... I just hope Ahsoka's in it xD

Interesting. They didn't go into the legion of dark force users in the movies, maybe they will touch on in these.

well she wasn’t killed off. She left, so it's a real possibility. She might even not be killed.

Yeah, even though CW season 5 had a really sad ending of her leaving, it was much better than her being killed off. If she does appear in Rebels I hope she'll be there for a while

Agreed. But she will be older, and I guess pretty well hidden. If she does come back it would feel a lot like the old guy from force unleashed maybe?

Well hidden sounds AWESOME! Camouflage :cool:
This takes place between ROTS and A New Hope, so at the most, Ahsoka will be 30 years old, not that old at all.

Oh, between III and IV. I mis-read/heard it then.

Which is good, since it's a much better setting for a television series.

Yeah, much more will be explored in like, 100 episodes than a 2 hour movie xD More time for more story plots.

i have mixed feelings from this, it looks amazing, and i am glad he got the old crew back to keep going.

I have mixed feelings too, some of it looks AWESOME while some of it also looks pretty bad :/

He looks like the Dark Son in SW:TCW and more then likely I'm going to hate this Villian just as much as I hated The Dark Son.

LOL! Kinda describes my view of Darth Sidious... He's awesome with his powers but still unlikable in his character :P He caused so much pain in the series :'(

And I'm trying not to get my hopes up; all I want is just Ahsoka... Star Wars won't be the same without the once reckless, but gold-hearted padawan of the chosen one himself! :'(

*Revives thread*

So... with all of the updates since this thread apparently was chopped to pieces by a Sith, how does this series look?

Overveiw from me:
Characters: Good
Animation: Sucky, especially the blaster fire and lightsaber blades. However the explosions draw me back to the original trilogy
Voice acting: Great!
Music: ... Eh.
Anything else: Where's Vader and Ahsoka?? I want them here!!! It's awesome that Lando is in this series though! :D And Sabine absolutely rocks!!
