Zarkin

Zarkin walked out of the assassination headquarters at the crack of dawn. No body had gotten up to start their training yet, so Zarkin missed the familiar sound of weaponry clanging. He had a big task to carry out. A man by the name of Sei had needed a new recruit for the Ixian Knights. Zarkin got word on this matter last night by the headmaster. Zarkin knew nothing of the task just yet, but he knew where to meet this man. Zarkin was dressed in his assassin's gear with his broad bow draped across his torso. Knives in a bag, and arrows in his quiver. He had a meeting with Sei in the Corone marketplace.
Walking at a fast pace Zarkin covered a lot of ground. He passed many familiar faces, most of them early birds. And passed some people he had no clue who they were. He didn't get that often for being in Corone for almost ten years. He made the effort sometimes to meet the new people, but was mostly busy waiting on a job. Zarkin wasn't just in this for the money, he was also in it for the Ixian Knights. They were well known. And not that easy to get into. You had to have a good background on yourself. Which Zarkin did for being one of the best assassins in Corone. This was going to be either one hell of a job, or one tough job that would bore him. But it was always good to keep an open mind.
Zarkin came into the market and strolled to the spot where Sei was going to meet him. Zarkin knew nothing of the mans appearance, not even a face. He only knew the name, and by the sounds of it he seemed like a very important and unique man. Zarkin sat on a pile of crates inspecting all of his equipment. You never know when you are going to need such useful weapons. Bandits were tricky people, and Zarkin was aggressive with enemies. Which was probably a good thing to the Ixian Knights.
After about twenty minutes Zarkin heard his name, but it was strangely in his mind.
"You must be Zarkin" the voice in his head said. Startles Zarkin looked up to see a man standing there peering down on him.
