Zack strolled into the 'Cain and Emery's Clothing and Enchantments' with a kick in his step. Coming fresh off of a third place victory in the LCC, on top of his fourth place in the Adventurer's Crown, the blonde youth was practically on cloud nine. Unfortunately, he began to realize that he didn't look the part of a champion. He wore nothing to make him stand out from your average street fighter. As such, Misery Business Incorporated had provided their champion with enough funds to secure practically anything he wanted to become his own male fashionista. As he approached the counter, he eyeballed the clerk with a smile, reaching into his pocket and withdrawing a small stone with several arcane runes upon it.

"Howdy, my good man," the youth spoke, "I'm sure you recognize the Teleport Stone, the fourth place prize for the Adventurer's Crown. What I need from you is to tell me how many times you can enchant this thing. Lets ballpark a number like, increase the teleport to four times a day instead of one? After we talk about that, we'll move on to some accsessorizing."

The shopkeep whistled softly through his teeth as he looked at the item before him. He recognised the item, alright, as would anyone with one eye and half a brain on this side of Berevar.

He looked up at the man before him, raising an eyebrow at the demands and his exuberant display, but keeping tight-lipped as he considered the request.. and the sanity of the scruffy-looking individual before him.

But, gold was gold, and this was the genuine article, so if this man had the coin to pay, then Ismail Cain had the services available. He tallied up the work required, the time it would take, materials needed for the actual enchanting process... It took hims several minutes, throughout which he stood utterly motionless apart from his eyes flicking left to right again and again rapidly. He never made a sound.

"Well," he started suddenly, snapping out of his reverie, "we can do the work you are requesting, though it will be expensive."

Cain tapped a finger thoughtfully on his chin as he glanced at the young man's attire.

"Three-thousand two-hundred is the price. Take it or leave it, sir," he said.

"Take it!" Zack nodded, "Definitely take it!"

He grabbed his satchel full of coin, removing some of the higher end objects and placing them on the table. Alongside the coins was a sketch of what appeared to be heavily fortified earmuffs with spikes protruding from the sides of each ear. A wire ran down the length of this object, and small sketches of lightning hitting the metal tips (Labeled 'titanium') were drawn all around.

"I'd also like to have this object. It came to me in a dream one night. Essentially, if possible, I'd like the titanium spikes drawn here to be able to redirect electricity all through my body. Is that also possible, and if so, how much?"

The man tutted away to himself, his eyes once again dancing inside his skull from the sketch lying on the counter before him to the numbers he was tallying up in his head.

He ignored the young man before him for another minute, barely even seeming to breathe before he snapped back into animation. Cain drew out a small series of notebooks from under the counter, leafing through to double-check appropriate materials were in stock.

"Alright, that item will cost you another eight-hundred and forty gold," he said, finally looking up at Zack.

“Perfect!” Zack exclaimed and reached into his pocket for a few more high-end coins, revealing the money and adding it to the satchel.

“Next, I need you to make me a headband, one kinda like…” The boy reached into his pocket once more and removed a piece of paper, unfolding it and placing it upon the counter, “This ( http://www.xinxingshop.us/photo/anime/T09/0213/T1430.jpg) but instead of the lips, I want a giant ‘MB’ embroidered on there. I do want you to keep the word ‘Soul’ though. It looks pretty awesome as a patch, don’t you think?”

Before the shop keep could answer, Zack continued, “Oh, and I also need this headband to protect its user’s soul whenever he wears it. I don’t want anything to have my soul as long as it’s on my head, not magic, not weaponry, not even contracts with the Au---the devil himself!”

Ismail pinched the bridge of his nose softly, closing his eyes and taking a few deep breaths as the customer continued his verbal barrage. He knew he couldn't complain - this sale alone would more than likely cover his expenses for the next few months, but he was still used to a higher class of customer than the young man standing before him, producing another sketch from within his jacket.

The tailor-enchanter looked over the wrinkled sheet of paper, picking it up almost disdainfully as he turned a professional eye over the design. He opened his mouth to ask Zack what material he would like, but before he could get a word in, the boy continued talking for another few moments.

Mr. Cain breathed through his nose, waiting patiently for his turn to speak. When it was clear his customer had finished, Ismail could only raise his eyebrow at the boy's request. He pondered a moment, tapping a finger thoughtfully against his temple.

"That is not a common request," he began carefully, trying to figure out how best to get more money out of Zack, "but it is not beyond our abilities here at Cain and Emery's. Before we begin, however, I have to know what material you would like this item to be made of. We have many on offer, as you can see - everything from denim, to silk, all the way up to vlince."

The slender man produced a small book of fabric samples, handing it over the counter for Zack to have a feel.

"Of course, the price would vary accordingly depending on which material you would prefer," he smiled, with barely a trace of humour evident in his face, "but of course one must pay for quality."

"Well then, make the material out of whatever the strongest stuff you have is. I'm not picky. While you're at it, my final request," Zack ith a third slip of paper this time of a strangely assembled tophat (http://manycosplay.com/product%20photo/Black%20Butler/Black%20Butler_Undertaker1_3.jpg).

You can make this hat out of your finest material as well. As far as its special power goes," Zack thought for a moment, the frustrated shop keep leaning in as if he needed to hear the boy better.

"Nothing. Just make it like it's shown, to where it can assemble into a long cloth if need be, and then reassemble into a top hat, and we'll be good!"

Ismail smiled with genuine delight at Zack's words, thanking the Thayne for sending him a customer so willing to part with his coin. He ran a cursory glance over the item on this final slip of crumpled paper, but he dismissed it - he knew his trade, and making a top hat was hardly knew to the tailor-enchanter. Even the modifications specified would be little trouble.

"A few small pins to hold it in place, simply remove them to uncoil the cloth," he muttered to himself, already imagining and discarding half a dozen ideas in the space of a heartbeat. Each new design was more complete than the last and after a few moments of humming to himself, drumming his fingers on is chin, he nodded.

"Yes. Yes, that is all well and good, sir," he beamed, making a few notes on a slip of paper in one of his ledgers.

"The.. headband," his lip curled slightly at the term, but he wouldn't turn away business, "will cost four-hundred gold, all told. And the hat, with your specifications, will be four-hundred-and-fifty. It will, with the unhooking of a few small pins, unfurl to a cloth roughly the height of your average Coronian."

Cain was pleased with himself, not only for the fine work he was about to do, but the fine pile of riches that accompanied it.

"If there will be nothing else, your tally comes to," he paused, consulting his scribbled notes, "four-thousand, eight-hundred and ninety Coronian crowns, sir."

His smile was almost pleasant as he looked at the number written in front of him, mouth nearly watering at the sum.

"That price is more than fair with everything I asked for," Zack began to reach towards his pocket with a smile. With such an updated arsenal, it would be hard for anybody to literally touch the youth when they got close. He snicked as he grabbed some more coins out of his bag and brought them over to the counter top, his hand pausing as he hovered the money over the desk.

"One thing though. I was just curious if you offer any sort of bulk buy discount here? I mean, I don't want to cut into your funds, but surely if you have someone willing to buy so much stuff for such a hefty price, you can waver at least a few crowns off of the top?" Zack was not the most savvy of businessmen or hagglers, but if he could even save one or two gold pieces by just appealing to the men's morality, it would benefit the street fighter in the end.

"After all, you've obliged my requests so much, that I will definitely be returning in the future to make more large purchases. What do you say, pal?"

Ismail's face took on an icy edge at the mention of that most distasteful of words - discount.

But he masked it instantly, years of practice presenting a cheerful demeanor to the clientele asserting control without a second thought. The rake-thin man ran a finger thoughtfully over his pale lips, tutting to himself silently as he looked over the columns of numbers in his ledger, ink still drying. It was true, even if he skimmed a few gold off the top of so large a sale, he would still be making a tidy profit, and the promise of future business was promising..

He flicked his sharp green eyes up to Zack's, a smile curling the corners of his mouth without much humour.

"Well, sir, seeing someone as illustrious as yourself frequenting the premises would do wonders for our business, it's true."

The aging tailor-enchanter looked over his shoulder before leaning in and whispering conspirationally, "just between you and I, and I only make this offer out of respect for your achievements, I can sell you your items for four-thousand, six-hundred and forty five crowns."

He leaned in a little closer, resting his elbows on the polished counter and watching the other customers flitting about the expansive confines of the store to make sure they didn't overhear.

"In return for your repeat patronage, of course," Mr. Cain purred softly, eyes glittering with barely concealed avarice.

The success of his haggling brought a bright smile on Zack's form, the boy removing some of the coins he had sat down as a way to acknowledge the discount. "You will not be disappointed my man. I shall be back within a couple of hours in order to retrieve these items. Not only will I be coming back, but I will most definitely be spreading the word of your generosity to my friends and family. I hope you have a wonderful day!"

The youth walked out of the store, doing his best to stop from clicking his heels on the way out. Zack Blaze was well on the way to becoming an unstoppable fighting machine.
