Appearance: His gray hair is cut short and is combed to the right. He is slightly round but has quite a bit of muscle. He wears green camouflage pants and tan button down shirt. Over his tan shirt is a tan commanders coat with a patch with five silver stars surrounding a single silver star in the center. He also wears a hat that hold this symbol.
Skills:
Pressure Point Hand to Hand Combat – He has trained to be able to hit any pressure point on the human body to kill, incapacitate, or just torture an enemy. He uses this in combat to bring down any enemy that gets close to him.
Leadership – He was granted the title “General of the Armies of the United States” (GAUS) during WWIII (2020-2024) so has learned how to lead a large group of people. Because of this he can get most people to follow him.
Swordsman – Most people laughed at him when he requested training with a sword. However, it proved useful when he was attacked in a gun free negotiation. His attacker had only a knife so General Roy easily took down his attacker.
Marksman – Roy was trained by the army to kill with any ranged weapon. Be it hand gun, shotgun, sniper, crossbow, ballistic knives, or even a regular bow. If it shoots he can kill with it.
Equipment:
GAUS Sword – A sword that was given to him upon his promotion to GAUS. This sword is made of steel and along the faces of the sword is the words "The Sword of Freedom".
Sling – Another confusing choice made by General Roy was his insistence on learning how to use an old style sling. This sling is made from leather and with a small pouch in the center. Roy has perfected his use of the sling just like any other ranged weapon. He has even killed deer with this weapon.
Familiars: Naruto – Named after Roy's favorite anime character, Naruto is an american red fox that Roy raised from a kit. Naruto is now a full-blown adult and follows Roy everywhere. His back is covered in red fur, his underside is white, and he has black tipped tail and black paws.
History: General Roy Pockis, the best of the best in the US army. He was born in 2002 to a pentecostal family in the little town of North East, PA. He was raised in the church but also to be forgiving of others and to respect others beliefs. He was also raised to honor authority and to always follow God.
When Roy was 18 North Korea attacked South Korea with the backing of China, Iraq, Iran, & Turkey. America was pulled into the war due to a defense pact that was signed during the Korean Wars as was Australia, France, New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Thailand, & England. Germany and Russia joined with North Korea while Japan joined America with South Korea. All of Africa took the side of North Korea while all the Americas took the side of South Korea. Soon every nation was in the war turning it into a true World War.
Roy Enlisted in the army as soon as he turned 18 and was considered the best of his squad. He gained command upon entering the actual forces and worked his way through the ranks until he received the title of GAUS.
After the war finished, with South Korea the victor, General Roy was given leave till the next war. The next war was the Oil War (2030 – Present). General Roy returned to the Army for the first 34 years of the war when he was forced into retirement at the age of 62. However, he could not stay down, so he started to train the local police department.
Now he is in charge of evacuation in Erie County as they house one of the largest oil fields in the world. Because of this Canada has set its sights on Erie and it has become a war zone. They decided that instead of sending them off to another area, they decided to try sending them to a place where they can live in peace without problem. The downside to their plan was that they would have to start from scratch and only take non-electronic devices. That include the weapons of that time. Roy taught the police department how to use a sword in preparation for evacuation day. This is where I will start writing his introduction thread so that's it.
