*11 Years into the past*

7 year old Cyrus was watching his mother Ginger tend to the garden she spent so much of her time in. He stayed inside and watched his older brothers and sisters play around with small, dead rats, and sticks "Cyrus!" His older brother Taeyang who was 15 came running towards him and tackled him down to the ground. Cyrus was taken by surprise, but then again he'd much rather go hunting with his father than wrestle with his siblings. He shoved Taeyang off of him and started picking at the grass "I see..." Taeyang said looking over at the woods "If you hate it so much why don't you just leave?" he said in anger "You're a freak!" It was at that point that Mary-Beth, Cyrus's older sister who was 13 at the time came over and started yelling at both of the boys "Why are you two such freaks?!" she yelled. Ginger got up and walked over to Cyrus "Now, why are you picking on Cyrus?" she said scolding the two "Cyrus is only 7.... He's not like you."

*Present*

Those words that my mother had said still rang in my head 'He's not like you,' Although I have to agree with her on that. It's been 6 years since I talked to those pups, and I don't feel like finding those good-for-nothing-piece's-of-dirt.
Thats because I have other things on my plate: Like trying to not get killed by an angry dwarf.
Now don't let the word dwarf catch you off guard. These aren't the sweet, harmless, cute creatures that you come to know in story books. No. These creatures are horrendous, big, and evil, like the one chasing after me. The wold here in Althana's can be a pretty cruel place to where people just attack you for no good reason.

But the odds of getting attacked are higher if you are a werewolf, my kind get hunted, killed, or sold on the market. And the reason for that is because we are a rare species.

The dwarf pulled out his sword and picked up speed "Come here Wolfy!" he shouted as he was now just inches from me. I remained calm and kept focus on a big Oak tree that was 30 feet from my reach. The light from the moon was a bit of help in this dark night, but since I had night vision it made things a lot more easy.
20 feet
10 feet.
5 feet....

As soon as it was within my reached I scaled up the tree and just stood there watching as the dwarf was now confused as to were I was.
I took a deep breath and withdrew a arrow, loaded my bow, and watched as the arrow went into his right eye and threw his skull as he looked up.

Dead instantly.

I hopped down and pulled the arrow out of the beast. I wiped the blood on my pant and continued walking into the forest......

OOC: You can draw attention to your threads by posting notices in the Recruitment Forum as well (and you can find other threads to get into as well). Meanwhile, I'm happy to throw one of my characters in here as well!

Dawn heard the sound of death. She paused right there in that moment. What was that?? Sounds fun whatever it is... And she ran through across the barren rocks of the barren lands of Salvar's thick snow. She paused to catch her breath after a while, grabbing the edge of a large stone to catch her breath. Clouds of warmth came put of her mouth. She looked down to see the thick, several feet of snow which came half-way up her boots. She was in the middle of a large "forest" of huge, grey stones at the side of a mountain. She realized after she collected her energy back that she could smell blood.

She looked up to see that a dwarf lay dead in the middle of a patch of snow. Dawn casually walked up to the body and knelt down. She was able to tell by her own experiences that the killer blow was done by an arrow. An archer like me. Dawn noted that a wound was directly in his eye. She enjoyed seeing that blood was still bobbling out of it. To most it would just seem gross, but Dawn had seen much, much worse. The way it squirted out of his eye actually amused her! One would think that this dark elf was sick... She blinked as some snow began to lightly fall again, hitting her hair, back, and shoulders. A small shiver escaped her; it either due to the bitter cold or, the fact that she could hear footsteps behind her.
