Sylvia Brewster

Name: Sylvia Ada Brewster
Age: 24
Race: Human
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 115 lbs.
Occupation: Historian/Archaeologist

Personality: Imagine, if you will, a sickeningly alluring draw of blood gliding ever so slowly down your throat while oblivion encroaches upon your very being and an insane smile is plastered across your lips. Sylvia Brewster is a walking mass of well hidden mental illnesses. She possesses quite a mastery of emotional charade but has to remain ever vigilante lest her "normal" exterior begins to crack. Externally she is kind, generous, thoughtful and intelligent. She carries with her such an innocent curiosity that she has been able to live her life in a quite boring fashion, which, deep down, is all she really wants.

Internally, resides a homicidal, suicidal, genocidal mess. Broken thoughts of violence, loathing and despair streak across her psyche, completely unrestrained. She obsesses over death and all it entails on a near constant basis, ever wishing to feel the bloody pulp of mangled bodies twixt her fingers. She is by no means sadistic, far from it in fact. In Sylvia's mind, brutal, quick and messy deaths are heavenly. For her, violence is purifying, it is beautiful and it's the only way to quell the void within herself. She has been this way all her life and has learned to accept the struggle for sanity as commonplace.

Appearance: Sylvia possesses a slight build, thin and lithe, though not necessarily athletic. She gazes with dark brown eyes and wears her muddy hair short and shaved on the sides. Narrow, angular features mark her face with a pristine beauty.
This, however, changes as she falls unto the Lich-God Inuare. Black flames envelop her body, emitting a dull gray light in the process. When speaking, the Lich-God's voice can be heard beneath her own, the first distinguishing mark of his possession. Finally, Inuare's visage rises into tangibility, marking Sylvia's face with a harrowing skull.

Skills:
- Investigation: Years spent under the tutelage of professors and field researchers has left Sylvia with a keen mind bent towards observation. While she isn't a genius, her ability to absorb information and formulate theories and solutions is well practiced.

Abilities:
- Possession a la' Lich-God Inuare: Sylvia is cursed with the soul of a millennia old, forgotten god that is constantly attempting to swallow her being and fully possess her body so that it may wreak havoc on those who cast him out of being. While this does absolutely nothing to help her mental state, it affords her a few of the lich's formidable abilities.

With mere thought, Sylvia is able to encompass her body in the aura of Inuare, conjuring an unquenchable black flame in the process. Wherever the aura covers her she gains attributes of his body.

-Strength multiplied by (4) times that of an average human.

-Body has the rigidity and strength of (leather).

This ability, however, comes with a devious cost. The more of herself she envelops, the greater Inuare's control over her, eventually leading to a complete dissolution of her personality. Thus, she may only maintain this ability for relatively short periods of time and only on singular parts of her body. For example, she may use her ability to augment one her arms for a full battle but only be able to engulf her full torso for five minutes.

The curse, with all of its detriments, inexorably lends itself to Sylvia's deteriorating mental health. While using it, she becomes drunk with its power and drops the facade of normalcy, becoming beast-like and vicious.

History: (I wish to extrapolate on her history within my first RP.)

Hi! Welcome to Althanas! I'll be going through your profile to make sure you are good to go. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me and I'll do my best to answer them.

First off, can you explain what 4 times an average human means in terms of ability? How much can she lift? Can she break bones with a hit? Its totally up to you how you explain it, these are just some examples.

Heylo! Thank you for the reply. As for the strength, I was think along the lines of it being limited by normal physical laws and muscle movement. For example, I would say an average human could lift 100 lbs. at most, so Sylvia, while her ability is in use, could lift 400 lbs. though it would be pushing her to her limit. As for striking ability, I would equate it to being able to punch through a brick wall, though that would be with extreme exertion. All parts of her body not encompassed by the aura would also come under the stress of the strength and too much power could break her own body. Would all that be acceptable or is it too much?

That works.

With mere thought, Sylvia is able to encompass her body in the aura of Inuare, conjuring an unquenchable black flame in the process

What exactly does the black flame do? Does in encompass an area around her?

It's more of a signifier as to where the ability encompasses on her body than anything else. It doesn't burn or give off heat in any way.

Okay. As of right now, your a bit too strong for a level 0 with the strength and the iron skin. If you reduce the skin to leather for now you should be good to go. You can upgrade this when you level up. Also, I noticed you didn't list any starting equipment, just want to make sure that wasn't an oversight.

The only real possessions I was going to have her start with were the clothes she would be wearing and none of it grants any effect or anything like that. Should I put that in anyway?

Also, I made the changes you asked for. :) Thank you for the help by the way.
