Unfortunatly his career and life decisions has made that less of a possibility. If it isn't a jilted lover then it's a damsel in distress. And more often than not it's a job which is too big to ignore and too obscure to expect any payment from. If it wasn't a freebie to start with. Quick to act, slow to question, Ulrich's first impressions rely heavily on whatever might be happening around them, but he'll always have the best intentions at heart.
Appearance: Ulrich's most showing feature is how there is very little to determine him from an average human. More Lean than well built. More sinew than muscle. Tall for an average person and a head of hair that wont do anything against it's stubborn nature to maintin it's dream of one day playing home to a family of birds.

Abilities: Shield: Using concentration, Ulrich can project a dome of energy out in front of himself to protect from any attacks equal to human strength sword smash, sustainable for 5 seconds. with a 20 second rest. Anything stronger will shatter the shield, evaporating into the air. The blow crashing against Ulrich's Mental fortitude instead.
Glass dust: With a slap of his hands, Ulrich can materialise a rapidly moving cloud of glass shards in a linear direction 3 feet wide. This can cut skin and cloth, causing great pain. Only through willingly remaining stationary and breathing deeply, does the attack become instantly lethal. Able to attack in this way three times per thread. Killing with paper cuts.
Tracing: With a strand of hair or a drop of blood, Ulrich is able to locate the owner by following the pointing of a needle suspended from a piece of thread if touched with blood or tied with hair.
Equipment: Clothes, travelling supplies. Bandoleer used to store wands for easy access.
Wand of arrows: Ulrich has a wand which, at command, with effort, can be used in a similar way as a bow, dealing damage in the same form of puncture, speed and rate of fire. with simple blows of force.
History: Ulrich Craggenmoor Professional wizard, graduated his class of magic roughly two years ago. Failing to find his way to the side of a king he became entrenched in the service industry, magical enchantments and the like for anyone who was willing to pay. Mostly it was farmers paying for a longer life out of their hoes and carts. Easy and mind numbing. The interesting days did little to dull the sting of a life being drawn away from you.
So he left. Re-titled himself and went for a walk until he could find his meaning.
And he's still walking.
