Well, i'd like to sell everything on this character, the wolf, swords, ferret, everything, in exchange for armor that looks akin to the Judgement Paladin Armor from WoW (http://wall.alphacoders.com/big.php?i=227534)

Alrighty - for starters, I am afraid you can't sell the wolf and ferret.

Next, could you tell me what material you'd like for the armour?

Ok let's see. For the red and yellow and all that fun stuff it'd be leather with iron plates to maintain the proper shapes as depicted, and the helmet itself would be steel with the glow effect included if possible and the hood.

Ok! Time for a retry, this makes it infinitely easier!

(This is set slightly after Godslayer, Sirius has regained his sight. )

A young looking man shone beneath the surface of a blind swordsman. It had taken years for him to find that simple little person in the darkness that was his soul, the blank void which took the place where love should be in his mind. Why? Because he had lived too many times, with too many experiences of pain and tragedy.

"Asyl, I have to go away for a while, there's a pouch of little red gems in the wall, take down the shelf, and open the boards with the key to the front door. When your own money runs out, take three or four to the old man in the Third Eye shop down the street. Tell him Sirius sent you. " A redheaded man with a pair of glasses on said to the unnaturally tall boy behind him. Sirius shrugged on his trenchcoat. His crimson hair fell over his eyes. Asyl was his "son" He had found him on the streets in his travel, looking for someone, and apparently he had found found that someone in Sirius.

--

He was on the way to a mountain that they called "Lich Crest" It was supposed to be home to a famous enchanter and blacksmith, but first wanted to stop in the black market that the police "did not know about. " On the flip side, some of the guards stopped there for a few items and the interesting wares that people can't sell in the Bazaar.

Sirius ducked through the door and gently removed a key from the doorjamb, unlocking a second door, and walking into a surprisingly well kept storehouse, filled to the brim with stalls and tables. He browsed, but one man in particular stood out, he had nothing but a single hood with a mask to cover the lower half of the face.

"What is this? A traveling man?" The man asked, he was what you'd expect in a young soldier or an apprentice blacksmith. His hands were callused and rough, but had a delicacy to them that belied their size and form. His face was smooth, but had wrinkles around the eyes and the signs of hard concentration upon it. The hair on his head was a strange combination of a maroon and black, braided down his back, with various metal bands of steel and gold holding it in place. But the eyes just had a glow to them that held you there, a mysterious little secret, something interesting, a morsel of information, a shred of power.

"Yea, name's Sirius, this hood, what is it" Sirius inquired, reaching for his pack.

"Ah, this is the Masquerade, a special mask made by me, which will protect your identity, as well as provide the illusion of armor to all if it is not touched, the armor that is. If it is, it dissipates for three hours, after which the armor will reform"

((If its not clear enough, the mask provides total protection of identity, except during crime, so, you can't go murder someone and be totally unknown. It conjures an illusion that looks like the judgement pally armor from wow, which dissipates if the armor is touched by anything. Spell, arrow, hand, sword, beer mug. Etc. 2. Can i melt down the swords, you're free to rp that part out, and get a war-hammer, bout 5 feet, maybe 5.5, with a spiked pommel? And just a vague number on an enchantment for it to harden the ground/ water around it in a radius equal to the depth it goes in so stab the handle into a pond 3 feet, you can walk in a 3 foot circle around it, as long as your hand stays in contact with the head.))

((I will add the RP element to this tomorrow - apologies for this, but I am having a hellishly busy day. But, I do have the requested numbers for you:

Steel swords - selling these to be melted down will give you 315 GP (158 GP each).

The Warhammer with spiked pommel will cost you 235 GP.

The desired enchantment on this weapon adds another 355 GP to the above price.

And finally, the enchanted hood, at the lowest grade material will cost 150 GP.

This comes to a total transaction price of 425 GP.))

(Ill delete this once you write the RP, so on)

So. No enchantment, I'll save for that.

Second, what's the lowest grade material?

Third, how does it get to 425? Every time I try, I get 385. Like, tax or something?

Fourth, any weapon I can get for less, preferably two handed?

The lowest grade material (as none was specified, I went with cloth-type materials) is cloth/ burlap/ denim.

No, there is no tax - you must be counting it up wrong. Taking the prices I provided there: 235 + 355 + 150 = 740 GP. 740 - 316 (for melting down your swords) = 424 GP.

And all basic two-handed weapons weapons work out at the same price. Sword, hammer, axe etc.

Edit: apologies, was one gold off the price of your swords - you get 316 for selling them, bringing the total to 424 GP for the original list.

I'm going to close this thread and archive it. Krausus, if you are still looking into RPing this transaction, please create a new thread and re-post that intro. Link this thread for details on pricing and wait for another bazaar mod to jump on to RP it.
