Name: The Minister
Age: Unknown, appears mid-thirties
Appearance: The man has seen better days. His hair is beginning to gray, though one would be hard pressed to know if it were from age or trials. It falls down his back in matted curls, long since neglected. He is large, standing just under six feet and muscular. His eyes shine a bright gold, though they are sunken ever so slightly into his worn face. His cheeks are sunken and their curves lead to a mouth that is almost always drawn tight. Near always the man wears a dark cloak over his simple robes, relics from long ago when the world made sense.

History:
"Look at all he has done my brothers and sisters. There is no question of what shall happen." The booming voice of the Greater Thayne shook the very walls.

"Then why is he here at all brother? There must be some redemption in his cold little heart." The Hermitess whispered hurriedly, as though she could stand no more of the conversation.

The sage interjected, "His deeds speak more of his circumstances than his soul."

"Of course they do, my brother. But what shall we do with him?" The drowned one said calmly, his eyes gleaming with possibility.

The sky mother stood still, vines mindlessly winding their way down her perfect body.

"I hold no joy in this choice." The greater spoke again, "but the child must atone for his actions."

When all hope was lost, the containment all he could fathom. When it all began to go black one final voice filled his mind.

Suddenly he was again on solid ground, his cloak blowing in a cool breeze. There she stood. Her face was strained, tears rolling freely. She seemed to have so many words yet no voice. "Go my child." She finally forced out the simple phrase, perhaps the last he would ever hear from her lips. V'dralla held her head high, her knowing eyes watching him carefully as his face contorted in anguish.

He obeyed. "I will, mother."

Abilities

The longest moment: The minister has lived a long time, and has mastered its ways. Twice per thread he is able to slow down time, essentially allowing him to move twice as quickly as the average man for two posts or ten minutes.

Child of a Goddess: Huddled in the protection of V'dralla herself, twice per thread The Minister is able to call down her protection. This can block most attacks, though an especially powerful opponent may be able to break through. It would take 500 lbs of pressure to break through.

Thy healing waters comfort me: While not immortal, The Minister does regenerate quickly. His wounds heal twice as fast as a normal man's.

How powerful must an attack be to overcome V'dralla's protection?

Can I actually change the ability to reduce the effect of any single attack by half?

Keep in mind though you'll probably meet some pretty high leveled folks during you're encounters. My advice is to pick a medium level of defense. Perhaps Minister can handle three haymakers before being knocked out, or a certain number of pounds per square foot. Dropping everything by .5 might be a bit too much. Please let me know what you'd like to do.

Edited. Does 1200 lbs of force seem okay?

That's still a bit powerful at level one. We could probably do 500 lbs. That would be about 3x strength of an average human, or about the punch strength of a lightweight boxer. Sound good?

Sounds good to me. Edited.
