((Exactly as it was on my level one update, save for colour coding and links. EXP was 2325, gold was 24,626. Yes, I’m rich. ;D))

Name: Kira Dawne
Race: Chimera
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Hair colour: Red
Eye colour: Crimson
Height: 5’1”
Weight: 90 lb.
Occupation: Fulltime walking angst fest.

Race:
Chimeras are more of a categorization rather than a race by itself. The word simply means an organism made up of two or more different types of tissue or genes. The creatures labeled as chimeras are far too different to effectively pin down similar traits, thus the word is used by scholars and scientists as a general term for all the misfits that carry traits of more than one known species. In Kira’s case, he is a mix between human and common, non-pedigree white shorthaired cat.

Personality:
Kira has gone from being the sweet and innocent child to now what can be described as a “walking angst fest”. The new information he has been fed and the things he has seen and experienced since he left his hometown of Loire has been building up, slowly but surely. He is now liable to sudden mood swings and explosive bursts of anger. His actions are completely unpredictable, often rash and reckless. An interesting fact is that bugs, or the thought of them, no longer bother Kira. He has better things to worry about than some minute little creepy crawly.

Favourites:
» Food: Chicken and fish, both preferably fried.
» Drink: Milk and orange juice.
» Colour: White – even though it is technically not a colour.
» Weather: Sunny and warm or a light drizzling rain.
» Time of Day: Afternoon and twilight.
» Season: Summer.
» Flower: None in particular.
» Animal: All small furry animals, especially cats.
» Terrain: Wide open meadows.

Appearance:
Kira has a very cute face adorned with large innocent red eyes. He is often mistaken for a girl, although his body resembles that of any boys his age. His skin is fairly pale, indicative of long hours spent indoors. His well-conditioned mid-back length red hair is slightly lighter than his eyes. Kira’s most striking features are the two white-furred cat ears sticking out from his head that replace his human ears and a white cat tail attached to his tail bone. Also, Kira’s canine teeth are particularly long and sharp, similar to fangs. Apart from these rather bizarre traits, he has the appearance of a human.

Kira is wrapped in a light brown linen cloak held together with a beautifully crafted pure gold pin. The pin is composed of a thin ring of gold in which the silhouette image of a cat is enclosed. The actual pin stuck on the back is made of stainless steel. Around his neck is a black collar to which a gold bell is attached. Together, the golden pin and bell are the material remnants of his past. He would not sell them to save his life.

Under the cloak is a white linen tunic tied with a sash of brown cloth, made also of linen. The tunic is lined with strips of red to match his hair and ends around the middle of his thighs. His tail pokes out from underneath the tunic. Kira wears a short-sleeved fishnet top and a pair of black spandex-like shorts ending just above his knees under his white tunic. A hole at the back of his shorts allows his tail to protrude. As for footwear, Kira wears a pair of brown boots. The soles are of black rubber and an iron ring is connected to the leather around the foot.

Weapons:
» Mana Staff - A four foot staff with a two inch diameter. At first glance, it looks to be a plain polished piece of hollow yew painted with a strip of red on each end, but upon closer inspection, one will find a tiny round gem, no bigger than a fingernail, embedded in the wood around the middle of the staff. The gem is dubbed “Mana Stone” for without it, it would not be possible for Kira to perform magic. His staff can be used as both a weapon and a walking stick.

» Fangs – Although they are not much, Kira’s fangs can prove to be a useful weapon. In strength, they are equivalent to iron. The tips are rather blunt, but they can tear through flesh if enough force is put into the bite.

Armour:
N/A

Possessions:
» Mana Staff x1 – Hollow yew staff with Mana Stone embedded.
» Satchel x1 – Burlap satchel containing Kira’s odds and ends.
» String x1 – A 10 foot roll of regular string coiled around a small oak stick.
» Hooks x2 – Iron hooks for catching fish.
» Pocketknife x1 – Small iron knife used for various chores. The blade is two inches and comes with an oak sheath. Not long or sharp enough to be an effective weapon.
» Money Pouch x1 – Gryphon hide pouch containing gold pieces.
» Clothing – Various pieces of linen clothing.
» Boots – Leather (tier 1) boots with a ring of iron around the foot.
» “Terra” – Palomino mare; Kira’s method of transportation.
» “Advanced Dark Arts for the Aspiring Sorcerer” – Black leather-bound spell book.

Normal Skills/Abilities:
» Cat traits - Because of inherited cat traits, Kira’s sense of smell and sound are above the average human but below the average feline. Also because of his feline abilities, his jumping capabilities are enhanced. (Up to 10 feet in one leap.) Plus he always lands on his feet, no matter how he falls, making him exceedingly agile. Aside from being able to always land on his feet, Kira is also agile because he can move swifter and react faster than a normal human. He can also see well in low light situations, although he is blind when it is completely dark.

» Feral state – When Kira is angered, his eyes shift to a deeper crimson (though it is hardly noticeable) and he loses his ability to reason. In this angered state, Kira’s senses are heightened slightly, and his pain tolerance increases twofold.

Magical Skills/Abilities:
Kira cannot cast spells without the Mana Stone in his staff. It must be whole and intact. He must also be in contact with his staff when casting. Different spells require different casting methods. They are:
Mental - Concentrate on the desired spell, effect and target. For weak/minor spells.
Verbal - Speak the name of the spell and concentrate like a Mental spell. For moderately weak/minor spells.
Recite - Speak a series of set phrases and concentrate. For moderately powerful spells.
Offering - Speak the name of the spell and concentrate. Also requires a set amount of Kira’s blood as an offering. For powerful spells.

» Fireball – Mental – A sphere of fire forms in the palm of Kira’s hand. It will not burn him until it is released from his hand. The fire created is like any other flame from a match. Can be thrown but loses power as it travels further. (Usable 5 times per thread.)

» Blaze – Mental – A variation of the Fireball spell. Within a 20 foot radius, Kira can set flammable materials on fire just by wishing it so. The flames created depend on the material used to start the fire. For example, a fire started by gasoline would burn stronger than a wooden chair. However, no matter what kind of flames they are, they will not harm Kira. (Usable 3 times per battle, 4 per quest.)

Chronological Thread Timeline:

» Kira leaves his hometown of Loire after his adoptive mother’s death, through Concordia forest towards Radasanth.

» Unwilling Sin – During one of his stops in Concordia, Kira accepts a job from a wealthy man in order to fund his expenses for his trip to Radasanth. He goes to Underwood, where he meets an elf called Aoiri. Together, the two steal a magical ring that possesses far greater power than they could have imagined. Kira feels guilty, but he couldn’t do anything about it.

» Kira buys a new cloak to replace the one he lost during the ring theft.

» Will of the Ignorant – Kira arrives in Radasanth where he meets Yuki, a girl who helped him greatly in his childhood. Soon after, Yuki is killed by a man named Seth, but not before she tells Kira the truth about why he was changed into a chimera. Unwittingly, he inherits Yuki’s possessions after her death. With many questions in his head, Kira heads back to Loire to find the answers.

» Kira sells the keyless titanium lock he received from Yuki. He feels guilty at first, but the lock was another burden he really didn’t need.

» Cat’s Tale – During another stop in Concordia on his way back, Kira stops at a small town to stock up on provisions. He goes to a tavern to get a bite to eat, and to his dismay, he discovers not one, but three other cat-like humans just like himself; Hisaki, Rainee and another who he didn’t catch the name of. The meeting of the cat-people is cut short by the arrival of the bandit Danchou and a large group of his followers. He holds the entire tavern hostage for a hefty ransom. Kira, already on the brink of insanity, blows up and provokes the bandit leader into attacking him. All at once, the tavern begins to riot, and the cat-people begin to revolt. They end up breaking free, but not before Kira aids in the killing of Danchou. With another weight on his already heavily laden mind, Kira continues on his journey back home.

Approved. We really need to abolish any way of trading gold OOCly, because it's just ridiculous.

Yes, I know that I contributed to your gold total. Shaddap.

I believe it's Zieg you need to get ahold of to have your GP and EXP added.
