I want a family portrait of Sorish, Roxi, Sanderia, Korra, Carol, & Ethen.

It will be Smooth shading, I want Sorish and Korra Sitting on a loveseat. Sorish on the right and Korra on the left. Sanderia will stand behind Sorish and Ethen Behind Korra. Roxi and Carol will be be outside the heads of Sorish and Korra on their laps almost like snakes. Roxi on Sorish's while Carol on Korra's

I want Sorish to be side hugging Korra who will be giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Description of Characters

Sorish - Coral Complexion, Blue with Green in the cracks of his Coral Body, a 3' tall Coralian Crown. He wheres a white scaled hooded robe over his Blue and Green Coralian Armor. He is muscular without his robe and armor. His neck looks like his veins are popping out due to Roxi. His ears are like coral rings and he has a beard shaped coral under his chin. The crown has many chips taken out of the top due to feeding Sanderia when she was a baby. The crown plus his true height brings him to 11'7. The crown is never considered in a Coralian's height. His arm length reaches his knees. His fingers are long and boney.

Roxi - She is a slimy smooth brown snake looking creature that has small black eyes. Usually she is 4'5" long and about anywhere from 3/4" diameter.

Sanderia - Coral Complexion, Green with Blue in the cracks, a 1'3 Coralian Crown that is completely smooth on top. She wears a white robe made of silk.

She is a beautiful woman. She has a smile that could melt even the hardest heart. Her 4' crown is chipped away to look like a heart. Her ears are like coral fins. She is a D6. She wheres a Hardened Rainbowfish Scale dress that looks like this:

Her skin has a coral complex, her main color is green while she has blue in the cracks.

Carol - Looks just like Roxi only slightly shorter and thicker than Roxi.

He is a handsome young man. If it wasn't for the fact that he isn't of age yet many girls would be swarming him. In fact, any human woman would love to try him out. His robe is made of hardened Sailfish scale. It also has a cape made out of it's dorsal fin. His father had made it for him. The robe itself is grey while the cape is blue. His Skin is pure blue, there is no other color on him not even in the cracks.

Hoytti: As it stands, here is your pricing.

A sketch of a multiple characters in the same piece (Black & White - No Pose): 350 GP + 100 GP Per Extra
Add a Pose - 50 GP
Add Color (Smooth Shading) - Multiply total by 2
Complex Request Fee (Texture of skin/crowns rendered in smooth shading) - Multiply Total by 1.5

Here is the formula:

((350+(100*5))+(50*6))*(2*1.5) = 3,450 GP

You may want to acquire the total or drop off some features. Poses are per character in a multiple. The texture of the skin sounds incredibly difficult to render, but I can do it given enough time.

If you want to drop off features you can maintain your slot, otherwise I'll have to knock you off until you can afford the request.

I will not charge until it is complete, but I doubt you'll bridge that gap by then. :/

If the Details are still a bit difficult then you can remove the coloring and add difficulty.

Dirks: A full body request in color would be that cost dude. I started yours as a side project anyway.

Hoytti: 550 GP for black and white. 825 GP for cell shading. 1,650 GP for smooth shading, which would have that texture.

What is the difference between Cell Shading and Smooth shading?

Also, can you make sure that Sorish Blushes? His blush is an extremely dark blue.

I also made a similar request in the other thread, but I'm willing to wait for a slot to open up.

EDIT: Cell shading has areas of one color, and then a lighter or darker shade directly next to it, with no gradient between the two major shades. Some prefer it for a darker tone or starker contrasts in facial features, though with certain color choices it can also make it a more childish or lighthearted piece. Smooth shading is what you see in most traditional art, with no single color overtaking a large area, and giving more sense of realism.

Yup, what Zook said. Smooth shading also takes about three times as long. I struggle with color pallets so I really have to take it slow to get it close to what I want. Cell shading will look more like anime or comics. I do a soft cell shade like I did for Lady's coloring. It's a little more dynamic, but a lot easier to do. If you need examples of what you are getting, I can link them.

To those that feel jipped: The only reason I opened the commission thread was because the amount of people interested in drawings. Plus this is more of a commitment now that is it formalized with structure.

All I want is a picture of my character Kaida's sword Calcator. Whether you want to color it or not is up to you.

"A unique short sword sized weapon passed down from her father just before the events that brought her to Althanas, the weapon has a long hilt meant to be held with both hands. The blade itself is long and has two outer layers of the painted colors black and dark blue. Most of the edge of the blade is painted black while the very tips are dark blue. The hilt is also dark blue. The weapon had an energy core generator which opened up the ability to use multiple abilities – however, the core got lost somewhere when Kaida’s quick trip to Althanas first begun. As of now, a large, clean circle is in the blade very close to the bottom of the blade where it is attached to the hilt. The weapon contains a chainsaw like attachment that when a button is pushed, the blue edges of the blade “split up” and resolve around the rest of it at the speeds of a chainsaw. At the very end of the hilt is a stubby nob with no painted color on it at all. The painted parts of the blade have been slightly de-colored and undone during the blade’s travel and now the blade has the strength of iron despite originally being made of stronger metals. Strapped to her back by some straps of leather. No sheath."

How are you at having a go at drawing Philomel's sword, based off Orcrist. Its finally mythril, what I wanted from the start and I have (personally) made a few adjustments, as in a prettier hilt.
