^ Funny story, I -used- to hate bees. Kicked a hive when I was six and thought I escaped inside before inevitable death. While I was half way up the stairs to my room, one ninja assassin bee sank his stinger into my skull sending me reeling down the steps. Battered, broken, scraped and crying, this one lone warrior reduced a giant to a sobbing mess. From then on, I feared bees up until my senior year of high school. It was then that I learned you could walk through clouds of bees if you remain calm, move slow, and pay them no mind. True story! Bees don't scare me now, but I will lock in epic battles with hornets and yellow jackets... eff those bastards...

^ Is damn right about bees. Or other stinging insects. I too have suffered under the barbed stingers of buzzing, striped, deceptively adorable oppressors. I've never been especially macho, but I completely lose it when I hear buzzing. Spiders too. Just killed a bunch for a quest in World of Warcraft. Plus I live in the South, where people live in terror of the hourglass-emblazoned "black widders."
