Upgrade on a blade - heheee that rhymes.

Anyway, Philomel has a bit of money now, and therefore I would so like to request an upgrade on her sword.

I would so like, if you would be so kind, to exchange her current blade - an iron kastane (a single edged curved-blade sword with one protective quillion) to a steel sword of similar length, but in different form. Essentially a smaller version of Orcrist, aka the Goblin Cleaver (The Hobbit, weilded by Thorin Oakenshield). It would be elf-made, and a light steel, so lighter than the kastane. The handle would be deer antler, or something similar. One and a half-handed, with the same design:

She also has three small daggers; one shaped like a keris, a throwing one and a parrying one, all iron. The parrying one would no longer be needed as Orcrist is larger - so I would be looking to sell this. May I get quotes for upgrading the last two to steel?

Edit: Also with this for a scabbard: This (http://www.extravaganzi.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/The-Hobbit-An-Unexpected-Journey-Orcrist-Goblin-Cleaver-of-Thorin-Oakenshield-2.jpg), made of a simple wood or leather, with steel detail.

If I cannot upgrade officially until level two, then it would be good to get quotes nevertheless, then return to this when the time comes in Phi's future.

Most grateful for your time.

Reserved for Erikar, hope you don't mind the short delay!

Fancy blade, you just get paid? ;)

That's quite the request you've got for me there. Beautiful aesthetic, really. I feel like that sword belongs in legends. Wonder why it seems so familiar..

Oh well, on to the price! I'll take that Iron Katsane off your hands and give you this Steel Light Blade, made with a hand-and-a-half hilt of Concordian Deer Antler exactly to your specifications! Considering the relatively small size of the sword, and the labor cost, that will bring you to 80 GP.

That's a nice main-gauche you're selling! I'll give you 35 GP for it, which I will subtract from the total price of your daggers. To upgrade your other two daggers to steel, I'll need 155 GP, minus the 35 GP for your parrying dagger. This leaves you at 120 GP for your daggers.

Lastly, your scabbard! Making it to fit your new blade like a glove will only cost you 75 GP! I've chosen a nice, light poplar for the wood, and a fine steel for the details.

This brings your total quote to 275 GP, all told. Sound good?

My good sir, I would like to say,
I have enough money for this, to pay.
Indeed this cost is to be admired,
The cheapness is nothing but inspired.

In essence, I agree,
For it seems to me,
This is tolerably very acceptable.

Philomel bows and hands over 275 GP.

I thank you very much for your custom,
Find some heads,
Take your new blades and bust em',
I hope you don't let blood rust em'!

One last thanks for your time,
maybe just one more rhyme.
A purchase in prose
To help you smite your foes
I hope this is what you had in mind!

Transaction Completed!
275 GP to be deducted from Philomel's account!

(Philomel has notified me that she'd like to keep this thread open until after the Magus Cup.)

My dear Erikar
Would you be so kind
As since the Magus Cup round
As been so defined
And ended thus
It comes to mind
That I would like
To complete this transaction
