In my quest to stick to cannon and start creating some canonical hang out spots, I would like to hear current Pubs and Inns being used on Althanas.

The two main ones that stand out are The Flying Stone Tavern and The Silver Pub.

Luned has a pub she uses called Moody's Ale Cellar.

Tobias and I would like to have an inn right next to a pub directly across from the Citadel. The pub will be called "The Broken Blade" and the inn will be "The Weary Warrior". That way you can always remember The Broken Blade next to The Weary Warrior in front of The Citadel.

What other current pubs and inns do you know or have you used?
Where are they located?

The Old Oak (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?26017-The-Trading-Company-A-New-Face&p=214324&viewfull=1#post214324) - a more up-market pub near the Radasanth Bazaar

The Frowning Landslide (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?25650-Return-%28Open%29&p=209939&viewfull=1#post209939) - a bit of a dive bar, popular with the guard for being a nice, peaceful and quiet spot in which to get blink drunk.

Not a pub or tavern, but I have referenced Amarson's (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?25197-The-Midnight-Visitor-%28solo%29&p=205441&viewfull=1#post205441) Brewery before, located in Radasanth's outskirts. Just one of the many suppliers for that city.

Also, I wholly support the idea of having a pub located just outside the Citadel.

The Silver Pub is on the southern outskirts of Radasanth, if memory serves. But the pub burned down in the personal canon of its owner (Tshael/Manda).

The Golden Autumn Inn is in Concordia.

So far I've used two such establishments, The Auld Hoose in Scara Brae (Words of the Auld Hoose (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?12388-Words-of-the-Auld-Hoose), The Muster (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?14057-Legion-of-Light-I-The-Muster)) and The Choleric Den on the borders of the Kalev Highlands (Anodynia (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?24027-Anodynia)). The Auld Hoose is an inn, the Choleric Den a pub, and one is a rather better place than the other...

Awesome, thanks for the additions and the links to the threads. It helps players research what the pubs are like/location. Keep it coming! We need pubs/inns in some of the other continents!

Oldie but a goodie.

The Galloping Wench (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?9949-Sweet-Dreams&p=97122&viewfull=1#post97122) - Just outside Radasanth, a bit off the beaten path. Perfect for the more trailerparkian clientele.

I guess I should specify: the Golden Autumn Inn is in Underwood in Concordia, haha.

Guess Radasanth is popular for pubs. I have always used "Dead Man's Drink" as my pub.

Radasanth is the biggest city in Althanas so it only makes sense. Plus it's fantasy - what fantasy game, story, or movie doesn't have a pub?

I've had several;

The Horny Satyr, in Radasanth.

The Lusty Kobolds, in Radasanth.

There's the Bottomless Pit, in Ettermire.

I had the Wind In The Sails Tavern in one thread, but can't remember where.

Not sure if these help any, but I generally just have a new little tavern or pub in whatever region I'm writing in, and make up the name then and there. Don't necessarily go back to the same ones.

That's what this thread is for! Why not give some of our brain children some canonical reputation? :p

Plus, your pubs sound like strip clubs too. Adult crowds and the like.

I'm using The Lusty Draconian in a couple of threads and plan to keep using it. It's located in Talmhaidh, Dheathain, and caters primarily to humans and the other non-Fae/Draconian/Drakeling populace. Barkeep's name is Tohm.

The Dusty Bronze, for all your xenophobic needs (if you're a dwarf) in Kachuck.

Boomtown Bar And Grill, in a Southern Corone town called Vorsport. Known for its fated meeting between Rayse Valentino and Phoenix Ascendant that lead to the IK's defeat. Run by gnome twins Tickers and Boom Boom.

Solinal Delvers, a zombie bar for anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves in the Plane of Undeath.

Got another from here (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?26960-Valentine-s-Day-Vignette&p=224198&viewfull=1#post224198):

Visht-Ana ("Autumn's Edge"): a poky little orc bar in a poorer section of Radasanth. New patrons can expect distrust and hostility unless they prove themselves with feats or challenges of strength. New orcs are slightly better accepted than other races, except for elves, who are vilified.

Added good sir! Thank you yet again!

The Wailing Wench (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?26854-Malleus-Maleficarum-%28Semi-Solo%29) is an inn/tavern in a small town of Salvar called Armavir.

Thanks for the addition Odium, it has been added to the list! Hopefully if Fox gets a moment, he can create a wiki or add to the wiki for some of these places!

Get our imaginary pubs and inns some Althanas History face-time.

There's also The Empty Hand, a Radasanthian inn about a twenty minutes' walk from the Citadel.

Do we have any additional pubs or taverns to add to the lists?
