Name: Treyn Dawnmorrow
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Language: Tradespeak
Location: Scara Brae

Appearance: Treyn’s hair is a healthy bronze colour, painted intricately in its shade by the frequent touch of sunlight. Eyes the hue of a ponderous green sea sit amicably beneath a wispy brow. Though a pale man by nature, hours of work beneath a bright sky have left Treyn’s skin heartily browned. Slender arms are corded tight with muscle, and the man has a slim waist and broad shoulders befitting of a good swimmer. An accurate guess would leave him at near six feet tall, with a healthy one hundred and sixty-six pounds of lean flesh upon his bones.

Personality: Though hard and matured on the flesh, Treyn’s soul is gentle and strays in yearning for a child’s romance. Having lived all of his life on Scara Brae, he is relatively sheltered concerning most otherworldly struggles. He sees much with his eyes, but focuses relentlessly on that which is good and fulfilling, whilst turning his back upon the less savoury. He is quick to trust, and some would say quick to be fooled.

Occupation: Fisherman

History: Growing up in the port town of DuBoue, Treyn Dawnmorrow often dreamt of one day being known as a Knight of Scara Brae. It seemed a true hero’s title, and Treyn was nothing if not an admirer of heroes. He surrounded himself with lore and myths and fairytales, and after each day of hard work by the sea, he would indulge himself with vivid re-imaginings of epic battles and fanciful quests. As the years passed, Treyn would find that dreams alone were not enough, and began to lose interest in his knightly whims. He turned his gaze towards the sea and beyond, wondering what he might discover on its other side.

His father would frequently encourage the boy whenever his wanderlust should be mentioned. A troubled man riddled in debt from ventures at the Zirnden, he had very little to his name and considered Treyn his greatest treasure. One day, he would whittle a staff out of old yew wood, crafting it from the love in his heart and his desire to see Treyn’s dreams fulfilled. On gifting it to Treyn, he would give the young man leave to go where he may, and perhaps return one day with stories of his own.

Skills:

Fishing – A skill Treyn learnt growing up in DuBoue while working alongside his father at the harbour.
Swimming – Fear of water did not come easily to he who had spent his entire life by its side. Treyn’s father would claim Treyn had learnt to swim before he walked.

Abilities:

Agility – Quick and nimble in his movements, more so than an average person. The action seems almost inspired by a fish, darting out of any ominous grasp with slippery grace, and comes naturally after many years of keeping his body in crisp shape. He uses this to his advantage in evading fatal strikes.
Empathy – Treyn's sharp eyes are quick to observe and quick to read the general idea of his opponent's next move, making it easier to avoid. His level of familiarity with the foe directly affects how quickly and easily he can judge in accuracy, and so this ability is heavily hit-and-miss.

Equipment:

Yew staff
Fishing pole

Hi! Welcome to Althanas! I'll be working with you on getting your profile approved! Feel free to check out any of our Out Of Character areas or the chat room while we are working on this!

• Agility – Quick and nimble in his movements, more so than an average person. He uses this to his advantage in evading fatal strikes.

Can you give me a description of this? Are his reflexes on par with a trained fighter? A cat? You can use whatever description you'd like, these are just some examples.

• Empathy – Capable of gaining a general idea of another person’s next move, making it easier to avoid.

Is this just from watching their movements? Does it work better once he is familiar with an opponent?
