Though her genealogy suggests she should be tall with long limbs and graceful posture like others in her family, Tyme is quite short and slight. At her best posture Tyme stands near 5'2", 5'3" in a pair of shoes with decent soles, and she weighs no more than 100lbs. Tyme does not lament about her petite frame, as she cares little about filling out dresses and takes advantage of being able to reach between the cogs and gears of her inventions with her small hands.
She has a heart shaped face that usually sports a smudge of grease when hard at work. Her cheeks are naturally rosy, as if she is always on the verge of a full blush- though this is most certainly not the case. Around her full cheeks lie layers of fawn colored hair left down and naturally wavy to her mid back. Tyme does not do much to dress her hair up. In fact, most times her overgrown bangs are pushed back beneath a pair of workshop goggles atop her head.
Tyme's expressions hide nothing. However she is feeling, or whatever she is thinking, can easily be read on her face. Her genuine and candid expressions are her most charming physical characteristic.

Social grace has never come easily to Tyme, and in some cases, not at all. Having spent the majority of her youth buried in her own solitary hobbies, Tyme never really perfected socializing. She is not a shy individual, but can become anxious when confronted with small talk. Tyme was never meant to be a conversationalist and will often go on tangents when she is feeling uncertain about what to say- which is most times. Despite this, she tries as much as she can.
Tyme is highly intelligent and driven by curiosity and thirst for knowledge. She is known for letting her mind run away with her, which can lead her to sudden and startling epiphanies at random times. While aware that her mannerisms are considered peculiar, she tends to share what she is thinking in hopes that others may understand her a little more. Clementyme is the only child of Cornelius and Cordelia Carstairs, who found their wealth in Alerar when Cornelius invented a patented energy supply that could be used as an auxilary power source for an airship- and could be stored in a crate no larger than a hat box. Like her father, Tyme spent most of her time tinkering with machines, whether it be improving their inner workings or inventing new gadgets altogether. After the successful invention of several other peripherals components for various methods of transportation, Cornelius decided he would pursue a life long dream with his wife and seized the opportunity when Tyme was old enough to look after herself for an extended period. Cordelia a historian, and daughter of an adventurer, had planned a great expedition that would lead herself and Cornelius to a long forgotten treasure. As soon as preparations were finished the two departed, planning to return within a month. However... a month came and passed and there was no word from Cordelia or Cornelius.
After a long year the couple was pronounced dead, though no evidence had ever been found. All of the Carstairs assets fell to Tyme as the sole heiress. Only twenty at the time, she was at a loss for what to do with her father's company or her family's estate. However, Tyme believed that her parents were not dead, and were in fact still looking for the treasure. With no other direction, Tyme began to plan her own expedition to find the lost treasure and hopefully her parents. She liquidated many of the family's assets and set out in search of a reliable company for this small adventure.

This comes in handy when she needs to fix something quickly, or shut down/stop a device. It would also be useful for sabotage should the occasion ever arise. However, under a great deal of stress, Tyme may not be able to think clearly and the result could be a real disaster.

Due to Tyme's small size she can easily fit through small spaces, and can be difficult to get a hold of. By using her environment she can evade an attack or two if she sees it coming and has enough time to put her brilliant brain to work with a strategy. This does not work on surprise attacks or in situations where she has no where to escape to or maneuver around.

She never leaves home without it. On her belt is a small spray canister of vapor that causes extreme discomfort when sprayed. In other words, mace. The canister can only be used once before she must refill it. Once per thread, or once between actual downtime where she can ICly refill it- if within the same thread.
Hand Held Tazer
She usually stows this in her tool kit unless she knows she'll need it handy. The tazer cannot fire, it is simply used in close proximity granted she has it prepared. The tazer delivers a charge that should be enough to stun a large human for a short period of time. After one use the device must be recharged. Once per thread.
