Just a random Quest

So I would like to go on a quest. What exactly it will be I am unsure, but I definitely know I want to go on one.
The ideas I have are:
1) some form of monster-slaying, princess-rescuing classic
2) infiltrating a drug-ridden brothel - Philomel is key for this.
3) a type of Western, based with revenge - not unlike the plot of Unforgiven. Essentially Unforgiven, but based in Althanas.

I am veering towards the Unforgiven plot (3rd). If you've never seen it here is the wiki page:

Who is up for stuff? This could also be a normal thread, rather than a quest.

Awesome!! Looks like we have a little team here :) almost perfect really.
There will be a number of NPCs. I will come up with a rough plot over the next few days and what we can all do in it, as well as an intro post.
It will be the sort of Unforgiven plot but changed;

Basic plot is there is a brothel - Philomel will be in this, as she is a whore. One of the prostitutes is cut up by a brigand, and despite the pimp being all "its my property, its fine" the rest of the prostitutes get some money together and offer a reward to anyone who can kill the brigand.

I am thinking Philomel will join in on the hunt, after she meets the men wanting to get the reward. It can literally be a hunting down party. If anyone particularly wants a specific role just say :)

So I had to change the action a little to fit in with the original plot, sorry for that.

Basically the idea is from now, that we go on the search for the brigand. Quen, since Ioder has now written I reckon you can come meet the rest.

As to the brigand himself, I know Ioder feels a little silly about it, but for the story to really go somewhere he needed to get away. The reasoning why he got away, I am thinking, is that he has some magician helping him, one who healed him once Ioder hit him and almost spirited him away. This will give another arc to the story and we can end up with some form of magic battle and Ioder himself will get a little bit of action if he likes.

Sorry if this is being a bit of a disappointment but I want to get back to the original plot, really, if that is okay.

So plot from now on:
1 - we all go off (starting from Ioder's second post)
2 - we meet Quen either now near the brothel or just down the road.
3 - find out that magician is helping the brigand in some way - magical traces or there's a man they find who was beat up at a camp not far along from where they are now
4 - hunt the brigand and magician down
5 - kill them
6 - Phi dolls out money
7 - whatever else happens, happens.
