Eingeluz
04-15-14, 08:26 PM
Name: Monawyn Eingeluz
Age: Unknown (she looks between sixteen and twenty) and Immortal
Race: Eingeluz
Height: 5’4
Weight: 20 Ib.
Occupation: Wizard/ Warden of Peace and Justice.
Personality:
It is common for Eingeluz to be peace loving and gentle, in a sense Monawyn is the same as everyone else of her species in this sense. She desires freedom and serenity and can be caring and loving to most others. However, she is willing to fight for the people she cares for and herself. Monawyn still has the mind of child and thinks in very naïve ways. She can come off as being quick-witted, aggressive, and playful at many times. She also finds multiple opportunities to provide (awful) puns everywhere she goes. Monawyn is very smart, strong, and has understanding beyond her years – although this understanding does not always come off as being wisdom. Monawyn has been stained in the blood of the shadows and death by her father’s uncle, Monster Time, and she forever carries the burden of that. So underneath those innocent eyes is a history of darkness and despair. In a sense, she has felt it all. She has felt feeling from joy and serenity to evil and bloodlust, and to depression and deceit.
Appearance:
Eingeluz can beautiful creatures! Their physical appearance reflecting their hearts. Due to her backstory, Monawyn has a unique look to her. She was actually once a dark Eingeluz, a demon type, and she still has traces of it. Her tongue is marked with the curse symbol (an ex-ed out pair of featherless wings) of her fallen times, which is blood red. She also, unlike most other Eingeluz, has no wings as they fell off during her time in the darkness. She also hides it under her robes most of the time, but her wrists and arms are littered with deep scars that may never disappear. Outside the listed though she is extremely beautiful! She has hazel eyes which reflect the light of her home; smooth, fair skin; and her voice is heavenly. While her natural hair color was blond, during and after her fall her hair was red. Now on the path of redemption and returning to her mystical roots, her hair is currently pink. She is slightly underweight, still weary from her years enslaved in her own shadows, but depending on who is looking at her, it wouldn’t even seem like an issue to most. She currently wears the silk, white robes of her people which only cover an entire battle outfit. She has a white shirt with long sleeves that covers both of her entire arms, white pants which come down to her knees, white Eingelic wrappings with the strength of leather which cover her entire feet and lowers legs, and Eingelic shadow chains that come off as knuckle jewelry on her hands.
Equipment/Weapons:
- Eingelica Staff: An Eingelic staff with the strength of iron but the weight of a feather. This staff is used to perform any physical Eingelic abilities. The marble colored staff has a pure white gem at the top which shines when an Eingelic power is at use.
- Eingelica Crown: A golden bracelet like crown with a purple, Eingelic gem on it which wraps around her forehead. It is used top perform any mental based Eingelic powers. The gem shines purple which in use.
- Eingelica Sword: between the short sword and broad sword lengths, this weapon has the strength of iron but the weight of a feather. This weapon is mainly used for regular combat.
- Eingelic Chains: From her times of darkness and despair, these chains are dug deep into her skin and cannot be removed or broken. They come off to people as jewelry.
Skills:
- Knowledge of Nature: she can tell if a storm is coming on, which direction the water in a stream is running towards, and anything else linked with nature. She knows how to survive in it.
- Knowledge of the Mind: She can tell when someone is lying or telling the truth. She also understands the way the brain works so she can calculate even clever battle moves easily.
- Knowledge of the Heart: She knows and has felt almost every emotion out there, she can easily relate to people no matter what their back story is.
- Knowledge of the Future’s Trends: Having traveled to a purely industrial world, she understand mostly all technology that could been seen in the Seventeenth through Twentieth Centuries of the world. So if she saw a gun or steam machine in Althanas, she would be able to tell it out instantly.
- Wisdom: She had wisdom beyond her years – at least that how it is when you look at her and how young and beautiful she seems! She is still extremely naive and still has the mind of say an eighteen-year-old human, but she still seems to understand most topics better than other and depending on the situation at hand provide solutions.
- Commune: “Whom I Speak of is my True Master” whom you shall never know ~ She can perform a technique where she can use her crown to directly communicate with Father Hope. She had been forbidden to perform this action in front of anyone else and must keep the communication a secret, so this does not affect combat in any ways (minus, perhaps, battling tips).
- Voice of her Peoples: Monawyn’s voice is so beautiful, it could be hypnotizing!
Abilities:
- Foresight: “Have You Seen What I Have Seen” ~ She can foresee the future! In a given situation she is able to scan through time with her crown and see any futuristic event one asks for. She cannot see her own future, only others’ and upon their request.
- Winds of Rage: “Justice Shall be Swift Upon You” ~ She can cause a blast of wind, strong enough to knock someone with normal endurance off their feet, to accrue in any current physical plain using her staff. She can do this three times per thread.
- Light of the Eingelic Castle: “Only the Most Worthy Can Enter My Home” She summons the Eingelic light of hope directly from the Eingeluz flower garden into her sword. This is a judgmental ability. If the person she shines it on is true, trustworthy, good hearted, kind, and patient, the light will bring the person senses of confidence, freedom and hope. If the person is evil, deceptive, evil/ cold hearted, oppressive, and blood thirsty, the light will blind them, giving them a taste of the true darkness they have committed loyalty to. The effects for either outcome last for three posts. Can be used once per thread and the light lasts for several seconds. She must have bother her Sword and Staff in her hands to use this ability!!
Weaknesses:
- Slightly Emo and Scared of Demons: “Have you ever taken a walk in the dark? A thousand year walk?” ~ Having spend thousands of years under slavery in Zane and another thousand of years working against what little will was left under Monster Time, anything demonic scares the heck out of her! She is 1.5xs more vulnerable to any attacks that affect the soul or requires anything like summoning demons or gollums.
- Still Behaves like a Child: “What? Care to repeat that? I’ll punch you across the playground!” ~ No matter how much time and horrors she faces, she is still extremely childish and naïve.
- Nosy: “What are you talking about? Does it include me? What does that mean? What’s your name anyhow? Where are you from? Do you sell anything good around here? But wait, what about that conversation? Wait- what?” ~ The above dialogue explains everything…
- Hatred for Technology: “Wait… Tha-a-at’s a g-g-gun, righ-ght? … D-do you mean to k-k-k-kill me with that thi-ing??” ~ She hates guns, steam machines, whatever else you call modern! She’s worked in an industrial world and witnesses the suffering it brings for too long! If your character supports bringing Althanas into the Industrial Age… They’ll have to go through Monawyn first!
- Shadow Chains: "Will I ever be free again?" ~ The chains Monawyn wears limit her Eingelic abilities.
History:
Eingeluz origin in time itself as the angelic children of Father Hope. Father Hope knew he needed guardians, servants, and family for himself to carry his responsibilities, thus he had created the pure beings called Eingeluz. Stainless souls and lively personalities, the Eingeluz is a sinless civilization of love, music, and fellowship. Eingeluz look a lot like what us, humans, call angels. They have wings to fly, are marvelously beautiful, and have eyes that reflect light itself. However, there are some Eingeluz, like our main character, who have become similar to our “fallen angels”…
Monawyn is one of the youngest Eingeluz in existence… yet she seen more than perhaps even the first ever created. Like all others of her species, she was developed and born in a flower in the Garden of Hope within Father Hope’s castle. She was grown from a colorful, hazel flower, first showing when her flower blossomed. By then she looked like all others of her species, a pre-teen girl with no wings.
Throughout the ages of time, she developed into a dazzling young lady and grew magnificent wings. She, like all others, grew to love music, arts, and sustained absolute loyalty to her father. However, from here on out if where her story breaks away from the Eingelic clichés.
It is the job of an Eingeluz to bring hope and love to any universe floating in Time. When she was of adept age, Monawyn was summoned to a world called Zale… and it was a place unlike anything she had ever seen.
It was an industrial world full of factories, dead faces everywhere, and sickness. It was the pointless sole purpose of anybody outside the king of this world to work endlessly in any factory and provide any and all luxuries for this king… This world almost immediately took her by soul and only turned them into one of them.
The king had seen Eingeluz long before, he knew their kinds. He would not let one provide hope for the people of this world. Thus, he clipped her wings and placed her into an oil ore. This was one of the many long, tiring jobs that she worked in for so long. She was always surrounded by police and barely was able to find any time alone at all to even change. All lines between herself and Father Hope had been cut off, she was enslaved her for what would seem forever.
… How long had it been? Hundreds of years? Thousands of years? A million years? She bent her back and sweat from her brow to do what all else here would do. By then she had lost hope…
But then she was visited by a relative of her father’s… Monster Time.
Monster Time was a corrupt man of evil deeds and evil wants. However, his offer for her to join his ranks seemed better than working here any longer. Almost immediately she obliged and joined his army of Time Riders… she soon wished she was back in the slave slums of Zale.
Another hundred years forwards, she was a mindless beast. She had lost all senses of sanity and only one thing now… a killer of time. She wrecked worlds, destroyed thousands of civilizations, and even collapsed the time of entire universes in the army of Dread Time. Once again, as time went she did not know how many scars from her sin had been sliced upon her arms. She did not notice when her hair had turned from her Eingelic blond hair to a possessed blood red. Her wings had fallen off long ago, their skeletons rotting alongside her soul… ... However she eventually was saved.
Father Hope found her amongst this chaos and quickly brought her back. To ensure that she did not cause any trouble though he placed eternal Eingelic chains, chains that could be broken by no one, on her hands. However, throughout time he had brought her back to her proper state of mind, outside the animal she had become, and soon enough she was on the mend.
One hundred years since and now her hair was slowly turning back to blond – it was now pink. The scares remained, and the curse seal was still active, but she was back to her old self: playful, innocent, and incredible cocky. However, one hundred years was still not enough, from the way she looked at it, when she was given a second chance to change a universe…
… A universe with a world called Althanas.
