PERSONALITY: As of other members of his tribe, El Chalupacabra has a big, brave, brash demeanor about him, but is ultimately one of the good guys. His heroic, "face" nature makes Chalupie (as he's called by his parents) quick to make friends and eager to help those in need--a trait that may make him blind to subtle manipulation at times. But that's not to say that El Chalupacabra is an idiot; on the contrary, behind his giant, cheerful meatheaded exterior, the pro grappler is quite a thoughtful, intelligent soul with a strategic mind.
APPEARANCE: Simply put, El Chalupacabra is a mountain of a man. Tall, tanned and muscular, he's quite an imposing sight. On his head is a luchador mask that has never been removed in public, for he believes that showing the world his true face would bring shame upon his family back in Luchadoria. It is made of a black cloth, with eyeholes cut into it that show off Chalupie's piercing brown eyes and thick black eyebrows. Another small hole is cut into the nose, to allow him to breath. Below that, a bigger hole is cut around the mouth and chin, allowing his opponents to see his terrible scowl (and so he can eat, because that's pretty important). Each of the holes in his mask are outlined with a thin ring of green cloth. Growing from his chin is a chin goatee--completely snow white and several inches long, it resembles a goat's chin tuft. Barely able to cover the grappler's massive, muscular chest is a simple black leather vest that always seems to be hanging open. His pants are similarly made of black leather, with green and blue lightning bolt sewn into the sides of the legs from waistband to boot. His ensemble is completed by a pair of black leather boots with rubber soles.
HISTORY: Not much is known of the mysterious El Chalupacabra, other than he hails from the land of Luchadoria that it nestled deep within the southern uncharted waters of Althanas. As the son of The Terrible Khan and Black Mambette, Chalupie was quick to learn the combat and performance arts of his tribe in short order, winning numerous championships and titles in his time in the Triangle Hold Islands. When he reached a certain age, he was tasked by his elders to explore the world around him, engaging in combat with other powerful beings in order to expand his skills, learn about combat, help those in need, and bring glory to his family's legacy.
SKILLS:
Wrasslin' - El Chalupacabra was trained in various combat arts since birth; combining various forms of martial arts and pure, straight-up fist throwing into a specialized style of combat. His hand to hand and submission skills can be considered expert-level.
Face Heel Turn - Although El Chalupacabra was born with a kind, loving, brave nature, he is able to adapt as the situation sees fit and play any part he may find himself in. His acting skills are greatly above average.
Chalupamania Runs Wild, Brother - As a member of the Luchadoria tribes, El Chalupacabra was blessed at birth with incredible charisma. With just a few words and a cheerful smile, he is able to make friends and influence people.
ABILITIES:
Strength of the Khan - Even for a man his size, Chalupie has incredible strength, no doubt inherited from the man who superplexed The Great Goliath from the top rope through the Fallien announce table during the main event of Throwdown of the Thayne XVII. El Chalupacabra has the strength of many men, and is able to lift up to 400 lbs. without much trouble. His strikes are able to dent steel, break wood, and crack brick and stone.
Agility of the Mambette - From his mother, the grappler inherited great speed and quick reflexes. El Chalupacabra can dodge most attacks easily enough, and is quite flexible as well. He's can run at a speed of twenty miles per hour for several minutes before getting winded, and is able to jump at a distance of seven feet straight up and ten feet straight ahead in any direction.
Ingenuity of the Cactus - El Chalupacabra hasn't quite figured out how he stumbled upon this ability--but it has proven to be very useful in the past, so he doesn't question it. Once per battle or day, by calling upon the mystical beings that watch over the Luchadoria clans, the masked hero is able to summon one of several items out of thin air. However, in order to be able to summon it, either his opponent must not be looking in his direction, or the object must able to form unseen behind his admittedly massive frame (which makes summoning relatively easy, truth be told).
