The Premise:
More often than not, Power Groups are created with an existing history and position. This is dictated by the creator(s) of the group and new member find ways for their character to fit into it.

The Empty Hand is different. Rather than existing from the get-go as a 'power' group in an IC sense, it instead starts simply as a group of down-and-out friends struggling to get by. The usual history part will instead be fully roleplayed out so that the group's history is real. We will grow from nothing into something significant over time, our roleplays chronicling the rise of the group.

The Promise:
An opportunity for people to get involved with a 'grass roots' clan and shape its future and eventual goals, ethos and purpose.

The Protocol:
The only real rules for The Empty Hand are that everyone works together so that the growth of the group is a natural, truly collaborative effort and that (at least initially) characters fit into the general vibe of the group. The second rule will be relaxed once we start to grow in terms of membership and IC influence, but is active for now.

The Past:
Quentin Boone was forced to leave his homeland of Salvar due to an unfortunate accidental killing during one of his fights. He was being chased by The Family and near mortally wounded when he was rendered unconscious in Raiaera. He was thankfully saved by a woman who would prove to become one of his closest friends. The two finally made their way to Radasanth where the two travellers rescued a young girl from a life of solicitation and homelessness.

So it was that a pattern emerged, and over the years the group took in more struggling folk whose lives could be better: The homeless, the destitute, the hunted, the outcast. The gathered themselves in a Radasanthian inn called The Empty Hand and managed to pool their individual skills to make a not-quite-comfortable life for themselves.

But it was less than the group needed (or indeed wanted) and though lost in the ennui of poverty, they hope that one day they will rise to higher standings.

The People:
-- Quentin Boone
-- Nachansky Kira

Hope this suffices for PG registration. Let me know if there needs to be more.
