He has little money, but I wanted to basically get ideas of how much various materials would cost. Looking for a metal blade with a wooden handle. Any strong wood will do :)
Bare in mind sickles are very small when it comes to the amount of metal used - maybe a foot in height/length/diameter.
Also the sickle is not serrated, but flat-edged.

The sort of materials I would care for a quote on, please, would be:
Steel
Damascus
I am tempted to say Mithril as well, but I am thinking I will not be able to afford this just yet.

Also I would be trading in the current iron one.
