In previous Giselas, you could assimilate soldiers. It allowed for some creative usage of surrendering, etc.

I liked that rule. The beat-up pickup trucks of the drunk Manda's were surrendered to me last time. I put a bunch of kids with no licenses in the drivers' seats, and Edgar threw away all the 'I <3 Thoracis' bumperstickers.

Yeah, you were right I was deeply inspired by Redwall. Hence the rats. Also the Mice are based on Reepicheep from Chronicles of Narnia. And the Elks roughly based on the book "Firebringer".
I did feel tempted to put in a posh English Otter here and there...
