There is an old Althanas prophesy, based completely on a polytheistic society. The anthropologists that studied the culture labeled the prophecy as mythology. The prophecy was translated loosely to tell of a chaotic figure. One who would possess great prestige and would be born of both good and evil. It was obviously their view of the one who would save them, like an avatar of theirs Gods who would guide them.
The prophecy has yet to come true in the way the ancient civilization saw it. However, in a more modern setting, there was a catalyst to a war of good VS evil.
James Marx was born from that catalyst, one of his parents represented one of the most evil factions in the planet and his other was one who stood against the evil faction. Their conception was a cause for a Great War that ended in the death of his mother. The death of his mother was not though war, but through a cruel faction’s decree. In order to protect his newborn son, the father was forced to kill the mother in a shroud of blood. It was an irony that James never knew of.
James was schooled at an incredibly young age, allowing him to master the art of deductive reasoning at age 7. He was able to complete complicated calculus problems at that time. James was no child genius though, his mind was constant simulated with the use of drugs and other knowledge enhancing materials.
His formal training began at age 12, James excelled at what he did. His father pushed to have him put through the public training. An antisocial killer does harm to himself without knowing the people he is going to interact with. James ended training at the top of his class completing the most programs.
James grew too quickly though. Though his various missions he learned that he was not playing for what is good and just, he was playing with the tyrants of Althanas. He became the skeptic of the faction. He then became a threat. Defection towards the other side would divide his father, the evil faction was above this though. Without his fathers approval, they faked the death of the father, and blamed it on the opposite faction.
It was meant to cause anger and revenge, enough to either turn James into a heartless killer or cause him to bring about his own demise. It had the opposite effect though, James ran away. Away from everything, he was against the good faction because they had killed his father, or so he though. He was against the evil faction because of their methods.
At age 19 James became a problem, he prevented an escalation between tyrants, scamming both factions out of millions of dollars, and killing 5 operatives mixed from both sides. He is now a risk and he must be exterminated...

Tendencies: James tends to avoid confrontation, which helps to explain the fact that he doesn’t use weapons. He tends to use his mind to overpower and trap his opponents. His best laid plan is being spontaneous.
Experience: Age 16- Factor X Massacre
James was detailed to an undisclosed region where he infiltrated a compound owned by the Factor X. He was caught and caused his entire team to go down with him. In a marvelous mix of knowledge and brevity, he was able to free his entire team and bring them safely back, with the object he was sent to receive.
Age 18- Operation: Anaconda
In order to mask the death of his father, James was sent on a recon mission to Alerar. The elves didn’t like it though. They caught James and instead of torturing him, they explained the real purpose of his corporation. From that point he was send to do a favor for the elves in the land of Salvar against a nomadic tribe in exchange for his life. He was to squeeze the assets of the tribe, stealing back something that was stolen from the elves. However, James eventually betrayed the elves, returning the bit of technology to his faction.
Age 19- Anti-Faction movement
James set up a battle between the two factions and scammed them for large amounts of money while their forces were centralized. In an attempt to cause them to destroy themselves, he killed 5 operatives. Unfortunately, the factions pulled out to assess the losses and James’ attempt failed.
James is a threat, kill on sight.
