"I guess this is them,..." the young girl said as a bright flash of light resonated across the area from her. Lilith had only entered the arena area a few minuets prior to the her opponent. Instinctively she chose the high ground and quickly made her way to a near bye tree and proceeded to climb the monster. One limb after another the young girl pulled herself up until she was about fifteen feet in the air, plenty high enough to examine the area.
It seems the light flashed only on the other side of the village. She had meticulously requested this arena to resemble part of her home village. Nothing precise and there was no real resemblance to her town, but the frame work of the few clustered houses and shops was spot on. She leaned out with one foot against the tree and her arm holding her weight by grasping onto the tree limb. Surrounding the small village was a dense tree line, some of the trees reaching well above thirty feet in the air. The light flashed on the opposite side of the village from Lilith, she only perched in the nearest tree to the village's edge.
After only a few seconds of surveying the area, she let go of the limb and started to fall forward. Wile in the air she twisted her body over once before landing gracefully on her feet at the base of the tree. Then she took a few steps forward before quickly hunching her body and jumping to the roof of one of the buildings. It was dark in the village only the faint light of the moon illuminated the streets below. After taking a second to breath and compose herself she started to sprint across the rooftop and then as she reached the end of the first she launched herself to the next and then again after that. She was both anxious and curious to see who she was to be fighting against this time. As she reached the center of the village she stopped dead and perched herself above what seemed like the main road. Here is where she would most likely see her opponent first, here is where she will wait.
