I would like a price check to upgrade Ulrich's wand to fire the same way it does, but with an Ice elemental edge.

Also, Price check for the same thing, but being completely optional.

I need some clarification.

For the first request, do you want the price to simply switch the element of the wand so it shoots ice instead of fire?

For the second, are you asking I quote the price of enchanting the wand to shoot fire -and- ice at the will of the user?

Let me know so I have a good picture of what I'm doing.

Both are corect.

But it doesnt shoot fire. Its a non-elemental ranged magical weapon.
Which i would like to enchant with ice.

So what kind of projectile are we talking? The ice is just and ice spike or does it do anything else? And out of curiosity, does the wand fire just an arcane blast by default? (I'm envisioning magic missile)

Well, I'm thinking the ice enchant would run you about 150 GP flat. We'll put projectile speed at around a stone's throw (95mph or 139fps) and force of impact enough to lodge into bare flesh and penetrate cloth and light hide armors with a moderate decrease to depth of insertion. Durability of ice projectile is ice, meaning it would do little to metallic surfaces at that velocity.

The price for making it able to toggle between standard and ice is included but if you want it as ice-only, I will drop the price to 125 GP.

If you are wanting to increase the durability of the ice, velocity, or add effects, pricing will increase based on requested features. Limits may be imposed depending on final lethality of the weapon.

EDIT: This would also put your maximum effective range in the ballpark of about 25 - 30 ft. After that distance, accuracy and damage drop off due to lost momentum in flight.
