Roht, if you attack Talen from all sides at once, he can be hit. Use the sand, man.

Talen recognised the familiar sound of the breaking glass, but a quick glance and the youth saw the the epicentre of the expansion was far enough away that only one shard was a threat and he calmly stepped aside as it passed. The youth drew his two swords as Jensen, his physical attack foiled, launched verbal ones.

That was Sei's mystic protection, my response was:

The youth's swords lifted slightly as he ducked and moved to the side as Jensen threw his glaive. If it wasn't for the cage, Talen was sure that the amazing speed of the immortal would have been his downfall. The youth skimmed around the cage, his swords dropped as he ran, touching the dirt and dragging two long lines as he moved around the cage.

It is a little bit better... kinda...

I'd throw out a second challenge back at you. If your description of the attack is one sentence then I think it is fine to respond with similar brevity. :p

“Oh, by the way,” Jensen tossed both his glaives at once towards Talen’s body. “Daddy ever played catch with you?”

By the same token you can't really devote a paragraph to a knife throw. It doesn't lend itself to such lengthy description. You can only put so much effort into describing a throw before you really can't do anything.

No he's got a fair point. I think in this case both parties are guilty. A challenge is in order to clear all this up

A challange you say?

Also I found out today that the Unicorn is the national animal of Scotland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_symbols_of_Scotland#Flora_and_fauna)
