So I am not going to Lye to you ... I'm no Alyssa Snow (geddit).
Though - I did a lot of art at school and my talent lies more in design and dress making. However, I recently decided to have a go at drawing again. Its taken a while and lots of paper and pencils and watching too much anime as I cry over my inability to draw a nose ...
Anyway. Here is the finished product of a few days. I'm going to tidy her up later in Photoshop but I've finally drawn a Philomel I am pretty proud of.

Thank you everyone, you've been so lovely.
Though I always really appreciate tips on how to be better, so please feel free to comment concerning how I can do better.
One thing I would suggest is making the noses smaller. I don't mind the size of the eyes, but the nose could be smaller. You did an excellent job with the body, hair, and facial expressions. However, the details on the faces could be better.
You've definitely got a solid start! The nose issue can be solved pretty easily with some practice. I'd recommend looking up some tutorials on how to do facial proportions and doing some quick, messy doodles just practicing the composition of a face. I'd use references both from life/photos, as well as artists whose styles you like. Once you've done some of that, try drawing some faces from scratch using techniques that seem to work for you. Focus on drawing more quick faces rather than perfecting just one or two –– erasing is your enemy when you're practicing! You have a really smooth, confident line, which looks great, but don't be afraid to get a bit messy at this stage and avoid the temptation to nitpick one sketch when you could be making more. This one (http://nominee84.deviantart.com/art/how-i-draw-head-n-face-169615249)'s a good example of how an artist has taken basic proportion guidelines and adapted them to a personal style.

So ... here we have a random picture by my good self.
It is from a series of characters I have begun to create, and so far it is my favourite one. All of them are rabbits (surprise, surprise, I am now obsessed since I got a get rabbit) in various poses and with names.
Here is Sir Art Baneful, gentleman of Harvest-town:

Very nice!
Suggestions? It's a little harder to offer that with stylized art, since the quirks might simply be part of the design. If you took BGoS suggestion to make the nose smaller, I would maybe place it a little lower as well. The position relative to the eye could be a little funny, so it might be better to just shift the eye closer to the front of the face a tiny bit, maybe even sit it a little higher. But then my faces inevitably look a little wonky themselves. It otherwise looks pretty decent: the hairline is sitting about right, the lips and chin curve nicely, as do the neck, shoulders and upper torso.
One thing I can suggest for certain is to find a place that does life drawing and give it a shot. I hear drawing from stock photos is also good practice, but as a group activity, life drawing can be lots of fun.
Keep 'em coming!
EDIT: ninja'd by Phi :P I very much like your domesticated house orc rabbit.

Otto, funnily enough I do do some life drawing, and those do end up a lot better. My paintings from my Advanced Higher years (last year of school) are much better, as well as my drawings of the dresses I made for that. Its more or less me trying to get back into it here.
The problem I am having right now, as compared to my dragon doodles that usually come out pretty good (though I say so myself) is that I can never get faun proportions right. Backwards legs are super annoying.
I am working on re-drawing that image of Philomel's face. Hopefully should be done sometime in the next 6 months ...

Here is a random sketch, like many that I do during my lectures. Except this time I almost got the faun physique right!!! With big boobs in tow.
The face is a bit wonky but getting there.

Looks super cute. Is that rice crispies?

Not rice krispies...
There is a chocolate icing base, and then spray edible glitter in silver and gold to make the patches.
The silver bits have tiny chocolate sprinkles on them.
The gold bits have yellow sugar crystal sprinkles, and then bits of crystalised toffee with that.
The paws are banana pieces, as are the eyes.
The mouth is writing icing.
The collar is sugar sprinkles, what we call Hundreds and Thousands here. You might call them the same.

Decided to put up some of my more avant garde art. This is a thing I call a "doodle" and this one is inspired by Drys, Philomel's goddess.
