A Lost Adventurer’s Journal
Entry Log #1:
Where am I? I recognize nothing about my surroundings. Since I do not remember my name, I will refer to myself as Smith, at least until I can recall my original name. I still cannot figure out where I am. Fortunately, I have retained the ability to write, and so I can communicate my feelings into this journal, for I have no one to talk to. Judging by the position of the sun, I can roughly assume that it is about two o’clock.
Let me recap. I have no idea where, who, or what I am, except for the fact that I like to write. I have no items on my person, aside from this pen and journal, as well as this plain golden ring I’m wearing on my right ring finger. Inscribed around the outside in flowing letters are the words:
Love, Rachel
I wonder who Rachel is, and why did she give me a ring?
I’m of an average height, which I estimated from my relative height to bushes and other natural objects. I’m not hungry often, so I suspect that my person does not eat much. In accordance with this, my weight should be roughly a hundred and sixty to seventy pounds. My hair appears black, although I have reason to suspect that it is lightening slowly, so I will record that it is a dark brown. I do not know how old I am, but I will record that I am a man of twenty-two. If anyone wishes to prove me otherwise, they are welcome to do so. Now that I have concluded my recap, I will organize my personal info into the first page of this here journal so I may have it at hand in case I shall ever need it in a time of crisis:
