Welcome to the group of the infamous pirates of Althanas. We control the seas around Alerar and eventually, every waterway will belong to us. No highway will be traversed without a token of gold to us.
Currently, we're aiming to build up our ranks. The number of captains is limited. Since we're using a Pier system, the clan will need to build new piers to open up more ranks. This is a first come, first serve group. Admirals are the Rogue Brothers' helpers, and they basically are pseudo leaders.
The Potential:
Nan Jing (Pirate Captain), used to dream of becoming a sailor like his father. Once he had a ship to command, he immediately set out and looked for a damn good crew. Eventually, he recruited Matthias Vinkuzri and Torin Reahkari, who quickly became best friends. Unfortunately, the group started to fall apart, and the pair left the group to fall into dilapidation. Straska tried to pick it up, but she was already preoccupied. The group only furthered in stagnation.
Matt and Torin eventually found the island where the Black Sails Armada had been based and found the place deserted. They went back to Alerar, where they bought a piece of land along a bay near Noria. There, they built up a small base and founded the reborn BSA. Now, they are searching for potential members for their crew and have worked out several alliances. What is beyond the horizon is theirs for the taking. The legacy, their title as Lords of the Seas, will come to them within time. It is your choice whether or not you'll be a part of the legend.
The Cause:
The basic goal of the Black Sails Armada is simple. Their aim is to get fame and glory, and most importantly, gold and power. This is no simple thing. There are people who want the Rogue Brothers dead, their titles stripped, and the armada mutilated. Its not easy being a pirate, you know.
Rules of Conduct:
1) Refrain from violence against all members and allies. Doesn't mean you have to like 'em. Cuss at them all you want, just know your probably going to get decked. If you do, it's your fault, so shut up and deal with it.
2) If you kill one of our own, we're going to kill you. If you come back to life, we'll kill you again. If you run away, we'll enjoy the hunt, but you had better pray the elements claim you before we do.
3) You, as a member, have the authority to question your superiors, but that doesn't mean you can oppose them. If you show inappropriate insubordination, your ass is gonna walk the plank.
4) If you disrespect any privileges of the clan, you'll be made into chum.
Rules of the Seas:
1) To build a ship, you must first gain either Captain or Admiral status.
2) Once you've gained the approval, start a thread titled Construction: (Ship Name). Start with the frame and the hulls, and we'll help some with the materials and supplies. All of this is free due to a deal we've worked out, but there are limitations to the ships.
3) Such limitations include, you may not use them in battles. Only for clan, quest, and storyline purposes. In a battle, the opponent MUST have another ship. We'll be allowed to use them in Clan Wars, but that is it.
4) Once your ship is completed, a judge will come in and approve yconstruction. Then it will be added to the pier listings within Etheria Port.
5) If you are NOT a member of the BSA, and wish for us to build you a ship, its gonna cost a hefty sum. We'll be expecting around 5,000 to 20,000 gold for the undertaking. It will be the same process as if you were a member, except you won't be docked at Etheria.
The Headquarters:
Etheria Port is a small town on the shores of a bay in Alerar. This is the headquarters for the Black Sails Armada.
There is a Gathering Square, a Warehouse, a Barracks, a Conference Room and the Piers.
The Gathering Square is where clan meetings shall ICly take place, as well as certain events like Tournaments. The Warehouse is a shack for all the weaponry and excess items to be stored by the clan. The Barracks is the clan's living quarters for when they need to sleep and eat. The Conference Room is where the leaders of the clan meet and discuss topics. The Piers are where the ships are docked.

There will be tournaments held every once in a while, where members will compete against eachother and then proceed to new rounds. There won't be much of a reward, but it will be adequate. The tournament will be rather quick. There will also be raids to get loot and money, as well as other rewards. Then, there will be storyline events, which will be vital to the Black Sails Armada history to craft out our legacy among Althanas.

1) These will be mainly 1 on 1 matches with some exception. The overall tournament should be short, but don't think for a second that you should slack off. These will be held most like any other tourneys, except within the confines of the Port.
2) Registration threads will last around a week, and the actual battles will last AS LONG AS THEY HAVE TO. If your battle has stagnated, only an admiral or higher can call the match.
3) Rewards include: 10 GP consolation prize for each loser. 300 GP and a Titanium weapon for the winner of the Tournament.
