Django Firemaw

Name: Django Firemaw

Age: 20

Race: Human (Mutated)

Hair Color: Chestnut Brown

Eye Color: Emerald

Height: 6'4"

Weight: 220

Occupation: Estranged Nobility/ Wandering Performer

Personality: Django is courteous and concise as a product to his high society training. His mannerisms have been slightly dulled as he's begun to become used to the world outside high society after going on pilgrimage and became more formal towards trusted individuals. Django is easy to give his trust to others and this naivete has not yet registered as a negative trait with him.

Appearance: Django is of an olive complexion, wide shoulders, and muscular frame. His musculature and stature pair well together along with his strongly defined oval jawline which usually sport several days of growth on his cheeks and a always present goatee he keeps well kept. His hair much like his facial hair is well maintained and purposely slightly messy, his locks are kept short but still cover around his ears. His teeth are well cared for but sport what seem to be the beginnings of tusks on his lower lip though they are small enough to be easily concealed.

History: Django was born into a clan of humans that all shared a birth defect that allowed for the fostering of super human abilities. The chance to cultivate such potential lead to a seclusion and interbreeding to keep the blood pure enough to carry the mutation. After years of xenophobic indoctrination and pure breeding many noble families expressed interest in interbreeding on the promise of exceptionally strong offspring. The choice was a clear one and his clan began essentially auctioning off it's young to other families for arranged marriages. This practice became so beneficial to the clan that they in fact began work their way up to receiving a noble house of their own. The business was lucrative, so much so that elders in the clan did not realize they were essentially cattle in the drapes of high society.

Django found his birth much like his life to be unconventional. He was fathered a bastard as his father had went against the practices of the clan and fell in love with a Magus woman. At the time Django was kept around as something of an experiment to see how receptive his abilities would be when mixed with the arcana influence of his mother. Even when treated as a special case Django felt like the black sheep. The circumstances of his birth are what gave him merit and not his character.

After the passing away of his late uncle the heirloom he possessed was to be passed down to his older brother but after a skirmish in which his brother was felled Django was deemed the most applicable next of kin. The heirloom was a claymore, one several times too dense to be swung properly. Runic magic was imbued into the blade to allow those of the bloodline to properly wield it. Being of half blood most doubted Django's ability to wield it but were astounded when he was able to use it with exceptional ease. This coupled with his already remarkable strength made him a force to be reckoned with.

Django however was no satisfied with how his ability to wield the sword was what won him his families favor. Once again it was not his own merit that determined his worth but what he had the potential to do. Fed up with this treatment he made it his mission to find a manner to unlock all the runic locks on the blade so that he may return to his family with the message that prestige is measured by the strength of character, perhaps then his posterity would live easier than he had. He has worked as a traveling performer venturing from his home land of Salvar ever since he'd turned eighteen.

Skills: Swordsmanship: Claymore, Performance: Singing, Ambidextrous, Knife Throwing, Tinkerer/Blacksmith

Swordsmanship: Claymore: He is proficient in the use of his Claymore weapon and can wield it with slight more grace than normal for such a large weapon.

Performance: Singing: He's practiced the use of his voice while journeying to be rather pleasant to the ears and it has been a source of income for him.

Ambidextrous: Can use both his hands with equal grace.

Knife Throwing: He is able to throw small knifes or objects with relative ease and precision.

Tinkerer/Blacksmith: Frequently makes his own gear and gadgets with his crafting knowledge.

Abilities: Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Reflexes, Blade of a Bloodline

Enhanced Strength: Due to his mutations he possesses strength innate strength superior to that of the average person. The mutation however needs time to strengthen so his strength is not exponentially higher only enough to make it clear that he is capable of feats of strength not capable by the average person.

Enhanced Reflexes: His mutations give him reflexes twice that of a normal human. He is able to enter this state of extreme receptiveness where his reflexes and senses are multiplied by 2. He is capable of entering this state three times a day though every usage takes its toll. After one usage his sense of taste and touch become numb, after two uses his sense of hearing becomes dulled, after three uses his vision becomes blurred.

Blade of a Bloodline: As he grows stronger so does his blade as the runic magic dormant within his weapon becomes increasingly receptive to him.

Equipment:

Family Heirloom-Claymore: Kusagrum: A double edged claymore 65 inches in length and a blade spanning 58 inches. The blade is already larger than the typical claymore and would be somewhat unsightly to wield but the runic magic allows Django to wield it as if it were weightless. The blade itself weighs 25 lbs where a normal Claymore weighs about 6 lbs. As of now it possesses the properties roughly that of iron.

Iron Throwing Knives: 20.

Flash Pellets: He has small packets of cloth that when thrown ignite into a harmless explosion but cause a blinding light to disorient foes for a maximum of 3 seconds.

Okay. So the enhanced reflexes reduced to x2 and the strength of his weapons to iron along with the removal of the blak powder explosives should make it good. At level one we cannot allow explosives that have not been bought. Same with something like a gun. Startup is unable to have something such as that.

Ah I see, I can reduce the Reflexes and make the condition of his weapon to be iron but his Claymore will level along with him if that is acceptable. The reason I gave him the explosives is because he is a tinkerer and blacksmith, is there anything I could possibly replace that with that would make it alright?

Okay, if your claymore levels with you it would count as an ability (as it would effectively reduce the gold normally costing to upgrade to 0) as you are a blacksmith you could have him upgrade it in a thread each level as his own black smithing skill increases.

As for the explosives, since he is a tinkerer you could easily quest fir the ingredients and it but them and have in create the explosives. If it is a substitute you want though then the best I can do is something that temporarily and for an extremely short time, say 1-3 seconds, disorient the victim. Or a smoke grenade would work too.

Ah okay, so I make my Claymore leveling up with me an ability as the runic magic is essentially becoming more receptive ti him over time as he levels up and say I forge it with my blacksmithing skill to make it physically more durable and the like. I can do that.

And I'll take the minor flashbangs.

Alright sweet, I'm set, thanks man!

last thing, under the ability of your sword, if you could make it equivalent to the strength of iron?
