Hello Althanas!

It is that time again. Time to award our members or excellence, expertise, and general silliness. Without further ado, I bring you the nomination categories for the 2015 Althanas Althy Awards!

Below is a list of categories. Starting later today, I will open a nomination thread where each player can nominate up to three people for each category. After a week, nominations will be closed. The top three nominees (as in the three players with the most nominations) will be eligible for the award. Actual voting will last another week. I'll make a poll, so all you need to do is select who you think should win. Everyone can vote, but only once! I'll be watching you sneaks with hundreds of accounts to make sure you're not voting more than once. Winners will receive 500 GP and an Althy Bage. You can most certainly win multiple Althies.

Friendliest Member - the nicest non-staffer on the site
Person you’d like to hang out with most IRL - who would you want to grab a drink with
Best Comeback - best member who returned to Althanas in 2014
Best Newbie - best member who joined Althanas in 2014
Best Quester - the best quest writer in 2014
Best Brawler - the best battle writer in 2014
Most Improved - who improved the most in 2014
Mr./Mrs. Althanas - the person who best exemplifies what Althanas

IC AWARDS - for the characters

Hottest IC Romance - which PCs were hot and dirty
Best IC Partners - the best PC duo on Althanas
Best IC Rivalry - the best rivalry PC on Althanas
Best IC Odd couple - the strangest IC paring
Best Quest - the best quest COMPLETED in 2014
Best Battle - the best battle COMPLETED in 2014
Best Creature - the best creature on Althanas
Most Original Character - only characters approved in 2014
Best Villain - who's the best character you love to hate
Best Hero/Heroine - who's the best character you love to love

MOD AWARDS - for the moderators

Best Judge - who was the best judge in 2014
Most helpful/friendly Mod - who was the most friendly moderator in 2014

ADMIN AWARDS - from the admins to the players

Player of the Year - given to the best contributor on Althanas
Moderator of the Year - given to the best moderator on Althanas



The three players with a clear lead in nominations will then be submitted to award voting. If there is a tie for third, those nominees will also be added to the final voting poll
