A steel knife with a crystal edge approx. 6" edge, enchanted to be activated by the user's will. The enchant causes the crystal to refract light, heat, and raw energy that exponentially improves the blade's cutting and piercing ability. In normal combat, with brief contact, this knife would operate as its base metal counterpart. Over prolonged contact, the knife can begin to transfer its energy to the other material and begin to cut it. Think magnesium torch.

Since Prevalida falls within your price range I will go ahead and just list that price which is at 1800 Gp. The enchantment allows the blade to get so hot that it can cut through metal the same tier or below when held against it for at least a minute as well as do extra fire damage against flesh, most likely cauterizing any wound inflicted with it.

Other notes, you cannot buy black diamond, you must quest for materials and craft it or request a crafted item as a spoil. If you would like a quote in any other tier please let me know. Also be careful to not metagame with this enchantment, ultimately your opponent (when apllicable) decides the reaction within reason.
