Basics:
Name: Nero
Race: Wolfkin (Lycanthrope)
Gender: Male
Age: 19
True Age: 133

Human Form:
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 173 lb
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Fulgent Bronze

Lycan Form:
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 237 lb
Hair: Black /w silver
Eyes: Yellow

Appearance: Nero’s human form, at first glance, doesn’t command the respect you’d normally play on a Lycanthrope. With a shorter than average stature and lithe frame, one could easily lose him in a crowd. A jaw-length mane of deep brown hair is offset by a set of brightly colored bronze iris’ that stand out vividly, with flakes of gold that allow his eyes to shimmer under the proper lighting. Metamorphosed, his eyes alter to a bright yellow, while the rest Nero’s appearance behests as a silky yet thick coat of raven fur perfectly covers his doglike frame. Elbows, underbelly and knee’s are painted in a silveresque -- or gray, and is also a bit longer than the rest of his fur.

Personality: Quick witted and attitude driven. In most cases, Nero’s cockiness and arrogance isn’t a product of self-assurance, but rather an attempt to draw out a fear in an opponent or someone he might dislike. More often than not, however, the youth is a friendly individual with a strong sense of comic relief; even at the expense of others.

Weapons: Nero adorns a steel broadsword that rests on the left side of his waist. A finely crafted weapon thought to have been made by his father or someone else of close relation; the design is quite exquisite. A slew of raven and golden swirls decor the pommel, with a carving of a wolf’s head howling resting at the end, made of black pearl and encased in steel. No different in physical durability or capabilities than the average broadsword.

Armor: Black trimmed silver light plate, with a calve black cape and the familiar “Howling Wolf” traced in gold silk. The armor, however, creatively crafted to allow for easy breakaway when Nero shifts. This is to keep the armor, and himself from being harmed during transformation.

Items:
Large sack
A few changes of clothes
x10 Traveling rations

Skills: None to speak of, besides average sword wielding potential. Nero hopes to improve upon these.

Racial Ability: Given his conglomerated blood, Nero retains many doglike heightened sense.. though slightly downplayed due to the human gene as well. Like most canine, Nero has a strong sense of smell as well as sense of sight and sound. Nero also possesses a hastened run, higher leap and reflexed celerity; as well as smaller things like a stronger jaw-structure. These of course are more potent while changed, but while in human form these still play well. Nero can change at will, contrary to common Lycanthrope lore.

History: The history of Wolfkin, or Lycanthrope, is well buried due to their lack of numbers. Originally, it was thought that Lycan blood was more of a disease or curse, rather than an actual race of being; and while this is true, Lycan's have evolved to carry this gene through generations. It’s questionable as to how the first Lycan came to be, but what little history that is recorded tells us is that the race has called Haidia their home for some time.

It was in Haidia, thought to have arrived via a portal in Corone, where the first pack arrived in 1499 D.W., and began a territorial war with the Vampires. In the midst of conflict, the outnumbered pack of Lycans were cast out by the Vampire’s when a slew of Dwarven reinforcements tipped the scales. For many years, Lycanthrope remained in seclusion and constantly on the move with the fear of execution from Vampire and Dwarf alike; surprisingly with no encounters with Demon’s whatsoever.

Around the year 1609 D.W., however, Nero’s parents (so he believes) were apprehended by a Demon patrol near the outskirts of Vla’toros; a common feeding ground for many of the pack. Due to the bizarre and unique qualities Lycan's shared, the commanding officer ordered the couple be taken to the High General Rakthean dil' Taros. Here, Lycan folklore tells of a strange turn of pacifism by the High General as he examined the strange new breed, one of which appeared to be close to giving birth; though nothing more is known on Nero’ behalf. Shortly after birth, Nero was taken and sent to Corone as an orphan, and though not raised by Rakthean, Nero was always under the General’s watchful eye and commanding presence from Haidia.

Now, Corone is Nero’s home. A lighthearted youth with aspirations to be a King’s avatar. The path he’s lead so far has apparently all been a build up for his own journey to come.

Approved, because I believe silver's weaker than steel. I know gold is... Maybe I'm an idiot.

Aren't werewolves allergic to silver, in a classic sense? Bah, no matter.

EDIT: Nero redid his profile, so this one is no longer approved.
