Summary of Planesmagic
Many beliefs have gods, and many sciences have realities, and many beliefs have ideas. All these coalesce into what can be called Planes, and on a certain level, are the actual manifestations of all these beliefs, no matter the amount of believers, nor the ludicracy of the belief itself. A person born with a certain aspect of imagination has the power to tap into these Planes and therefore, traverse them. However, for many, they lose such an ability before they even have a chance to learn about it ; sometimes they grow out of believing in magic, or sometimes they grow out of believing in a god. And certain aspects of these certain Planes become unavailable to them, and before long, their heart is no longer open to the ambiguity of everything.

When one does, however, learn to trek across all realities, it can be devestating to cope with. The use of Planesmagic takes a vast amount of concentration, and due to the almost requirement of having to be "young and naieve," in order to process this power, some do not possess the constitution to use it, even though they know they have it. Fatigue is a common side effect, extreme hunger and muscle pains, even migraines. But sometimes, even certain levels of hysteria and insanity may start to build up in an individual, the more they move across other dimensions. It is a tricky art, and a dangerous magic ; worse yet, that mostly children play with it.

Swordsmanship (Knowledge)
A fairly decent swordfighter. Knows how to take care of his weapon, and how to fight with it.

Sailing (Knowledge)
Rather good at navigating the ocean by winds, stars, and compass, and can man a small vessel alone. Has a somewhat intimate knowledge of a ship's workings.

History:
Mathias recalls little. He remembers something about the sea, and rightfully so, since the first day of his life he remembers, was waking up on a boat on a secluded island off the coast of Corone, unable to recollect any of his previous adventures, or even his reason for being there. He picked up a sword laying near his bed instinctually, and gathered a few belongings from the room, and left on a small vessel he comandeered from the island's harbor, setting sail on the seas to find the life he may have had before the salty winds scattered it across the globe.

He didn't make it very far, however, before dreams started to haunt him, and the Planesmagic that was his destiny manifested itself. Leaving his new home in the doomed continent of Antioch, he set sail again for Corone, to find someone that may help him reflect and master whatever lessons he may need to know. To help him control his power, or to just help him live.
