Name: Meggie Faulkner
Age: 21
Race: Human
Height: 5’2”
Weight: 140 lbs
Occupation: Witch
Personality: A little aloof a times, Meggie is over all friendly and eager to see the worlds she grew up only knowing as a fairytale. She is typically open minded and easily excitable when in a new world but when she is researching she is highly focused.

History: For many humans on modern day Earth, they dream of being part of something magical in a high fantasy realm far removed from their gray, dull life. This was true for Meggie until her 13th birthday when her grandmother revealed to her that like her, she possessed a deep, old magic within her. A magic rooted in the power of words.
Her grandmother informed her that she was not from Earth but from Oz and that her own grandmother was from Lombrica. In order to learn her true potential, she would need to journey out into the world of literature. And so from Wonderland to Neverland, Middle Earth and Narnia; Meggie has been living in various books until recently when she decided to settle down. Discovering an intriguing book in a market stall in the Inkworld, the second she finished the book she happily burned it and consumed some of the ashes, finding herself in the Althanas.

Appearance: Fair skin with wavy, thick rose blonde hair, Meggie is pretty ordinary in appearance with her average build. Her best asset is her deep blue eyes.

Skills:
Mythos Lore– Meggie has studied various myths and lore for quite some time and highly knowledgeable of mythology from various worlds.

Fast reader- Meggie can efficiently speed read, capable of retaining 70% of information when flipping through the pages. She can read a large, lengthy tome in three hours with 90% information retention.

Photographic Memory- When Meggie focuses, she can remember information and memories with 95% accuracy.

Abilities:
A Whole New World- One round trip per quest can teleport or fast travel to another world in a book or described by book by consuming ashes of a burned book. So if someone wrote a few pages about a port if Meggie burned the said pages this ability would work. She cannot carry people or things with her only what is in her pockets or knapsack. If the book was written in a language Meggie does not understand, the magic does not work. For example if Meggie burned a book in gnomish, it would have no effect until Meggie learned gnomish.

The Power of Words- if consumes a piece of paper with a single attribute written on the paper, attribute doubles for 10 minutes. This ability has a cool down of 3 hours, 1 hour if she reads a book. This can be preformed 3 times per day.

Ink Drinker- can drink ink to heal minor wounds and illness. This can occur once per day.

Equipment/Weapons:
A knapsack containing:

-Various labeled leather sacks containing ashes

-Althanas
-Inkworld
-Neverland
-Oz
-Narnia
-Waterdeep
-Wonderland
-A book describing modern day Earth in English

Note: I know the abilities are strange so feel free to make recommendations on how to improve them or which should be scrapped

I love Inkheart, I'm just going to throw it out there.

In terms of The Power of Words, what is an example of an attribute? Strength? Flight?

An example would be speed or strength.

My thoughts were more toward using it for physical attributes and less so mental (example knowing how to treat wounds) and social attributes (example would be persuasion).

Interesting, for the moment, please limit yourself to the basic stats like strength, speed, etc. You can learn any knowledge (we don't limit that, so things like social attributes, how to treat poison, etc.)

Your approved!
