So ...
I am now ending my third year of university, and have got my fourth and final before me. For it, however, I am in the lucky position of being able to essentially hand in 8000 to 10,000 words worth of a creative writing folio rather than write a dissertation. The thing is, however, I have to specifically apply for this. In this purpose I need to submit a folio of short pieces of work, up to 1000 words by 27th March (two weeks today).
I already have some flash fiction pieces I wrote recently as well as my poetry. What I am wondering is, would anyone be willing to help be an editor/critic/general nice person and read over some of the stuff I am thinking of submitting and help me get it to a university standard?
For a hint of what I am going to submit here is a link to my writing blog Small Golden Wings (http://smallgoldenwings.blogspot.co.uk/). Most of it is poetry up there, the stuff I read out monthly at my local spoken word event. If you want specifics, my favourites on the first page for submission are "Gentle Sun (http://smallgoldenwings.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/gentle-sun.html)" and "You Told Me (http://smallgoldenwings.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/you-told-me.html)." Pretty much every poem has a story behind it.
I also have written recent flash ficition I may submit. I have to dig it out of folders but yeah ...
(Here's a bit of random prose called "Other Things (http://smallgoldenwings.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/other-things.html).")
Anyway, anyone willing to just look over some quick poems and comment? That and/or prose. I can submit a mixture of both.
