Nickname/Alias: Answers only to one of his given names

Occupation: Smithy, fists for hire.
Personality: A gruff but not unintelligent man, Cromwell considers talk to be cheap, and thus does not do much of it. He has no sympathy for those who do not work or earn a dishonest living. He does though, have sympathy for those who do their best but simply have less than the best of luck.
History: Cromwell was expelled from his home on the outlands of Corone and his title as heir when he defied his father’s orders for mercy on a battlefield. Instead of showing the ordered mercy, he killed the rival lord they were skirmishing against, a move which secured his father more land and power, but broke with centuries of tradition, causing outrage throughout his father’s province. His father had no choice but to banish him. With nothing to look backward to, he left his homeland in the direction of Corone, perhaps he would be able to make a living there. While travelling southwards, he came the ruins of some ancient castle he could not remember the name of, but any roof beat the sky, so he made a fire and set about seeing what he could use that wasn’t picked by bandits. while looking, he spied a glint of silver amidst the rubble and uncovered two plate gauntlets, the color of polished silver, which was strange. They couldn’t be bright as steel, and silver would tarnish. He placed the gauntlets on his fists and was surprised that they fit almost perfectly to his hands, covering about three quarters of his forearms. He has been unable to remove the gauntlets ever since then. (I know it’s mysterious and under-defined, but I’ll expound on it later in posts) They had fused inextricably to his hands; and despite his current occupation as a blacksmith, the gauntlets remain as shiny as he first put them on.
Appearance: A rugged-looking square-jawed thickly-built man, Albert has a hard look about him most times, and golden stubble even more often than that. His eyes are bright blue, if you care to look past a mean squint. He is not a hateful man, he just sees more of the bad in the world than most others do. His hair is as golden as his beard and is just long enough to fall down around his face.
Skills:Cromwell is intelligent, having received the education of a noble, and knows how to behave in the presence of other nobility. He is also an accomplished blacksmith, having taken up the trade after his exile. He is an extremely proficient hand-to-hand fighter, his gauntlets being his primary weapons.
Abilities:
John is incredibly strong (twice as strong as other men), not just due to the power the gauntlets lend him.
His large build and strength also makes him faster than an average man. like twice as fast or something like that
The gauntlets have a minor temerature immunity
Equipment/Weapons: Gauntlets (iron strength: not for sale). He is able to mold them into basic weapons, they form to his will, to a certain degree. spikes at his knuckles and maybe short daggers, yes; swords and other larger weapons, no.
