Name: Project “Forgotten: Codename Obsidian Tower”

Alias: Xavier Zunde

Race: Alchemical Homunculus (Human)

Occupation: Mechanic/Mage hunter

Weight: Severely underweight

Height: Six feet

Appearance: The first thing most people notice are the scars all over Xavier’s body. Wretched jagged lines of tissue that litter every inch of his skin, causing him to look like he’s more a patchwork quilt than a man. Then they notice his weight, his abysmally skinny frame where it seems his skin is simply stretched gaunt over a skeleton frame, exposing every rib and joint. Then they notice the arms, four incredibly silver appendages attacked expertly to his spine, two going under his shoulders, and two going over on each side. They flow elegantly and fluidly, with no noticeable joints or sheets to dictate or restrict movement. He simply opts for a pair of tattered trousers and a stained lab-coat for attire, with holes cut out for his prixed arms. His hair is long and hangs in greasy dreads, his skin stained a gnarly black from soot, ash, and grease. He is perhaps the epitome of grotesque.

Personality: Taciturn to a fault Xavier does not mince words. In fact he prefers not to speak, and if he does opt he keeps it short, sweet, and to the point. It’ll probably also be pretty damn important as well. He does not play nice with others except his “Siblings” created from similar projects. He is studious to the point of manic obsession.

History:

It’s unknown how the samples had been found. Some claimed them to be fake, others claimed it to be fate, but one thing was for sure. They had managed to clone the forgotten ones. Not perfectly, mind you, but close enough. The possibilities were…endless, and the so were the tests. All sorts of nasty experimentation was done on them, finding uses for this new “Magicite” and creating the perfect mage hunters. That’s the world Xavier was brought into. Bottle fed Red Magicite mixed with milk, the monster was stripped of his inherent connection with the eternal Tap. They stole the one thing his bastard “father,” Xem’Zund, had ever given him.

That’s when they gave him his arms. The operation was…excruciating, but the end result was well worth it. Four completely functioning arm attachments that could reach out six feet in any direction, capable of any form of twist or turn. They were brilliant, and Xavier loved them. He would spend hours figuring out how to maneuver his new toys as he practiced picking things up and setting them own with the claw like appendages that they ended in. Before long he was a master of his new toys, and that’s exactly what they wanted him to be. They began to train him, teach him, how to be the perfect weapon to ung magicians.

Perhaps a little too well. On the night of his first mission he was set loose in Salvar to hunt down a witch. Instead he slew his handlers and the entire nearby village leaving a bloody trail right up until the point he vanished. The alchemists behind his fabrication began to search desperately for him, but every instance of his discovery ended in wanton bloodshed.

News of the escapes of others like him draw him forward, perhaps in hope of an alliance with these other “Abominations.” Perhaps they would set him on track for a crash course with destiny…

Skills:
Qudradextrous: Capable of writing and wielding a weapon in any of his four metallic appendages.
Photographic Memory
Fast Reader
Quick writer
Minor artificing: Capable of creating and manipulating minor mechanical creations.

Golem creation:
Xavier is obsessed with creating golems and is now capable of creating “small constructs” out of iron and granting them “life” by “sparking” them with his claws. They require four “Units” of iron to create, he can only make one per thread. He can only keep two alive at a time. They are below average in all stats and have minor intelligence, mostly allowing them to follow simple orders such as “Protect” or “Follow.” (Side note, golems can only be kept from judged threads, non-judgments and workshop threads cannot claim a golem as a spoil. They cannot be sold currently)(Non battle, deemed a skill by Hyst)

Abilities:

Robotic Strength/Vestigial limbs (weakness):
His robotic arms are twice as strong as the average human’s and are made of iron and end in iron claws that slash like daggers (More a weapon than an ability on the claws). They have an effective range of six feet in any direction from his chest. They move with average speed, and the surface of the arms still are capable of being damaged like regular skin. His biological arms are frail from lack of use, and in fact can barely grip his clothes hard enough to dress himself.

Magicite Resistance:
Due to the inherent energy draining nature of Magicite it is normally considered toxic to the average human. However due to his upbringing Xavier is resistant to their effects and can be in their presence twice as long as the average human before beginning to experience negative effects.

Hello and Welcome to Althanas. Sorry for taking so long to visit your profile. Your background looks quite interesting and I think Althanas can use more crafters.

Your abilities look fine although your arms are a bit too strong for level 1. Most starting character only have iron weapons so they would have a tough time dealing with iron arms especially with their reach, strength, and the fact there are four of them. Could you please reduce your number of robotic arms down to 2 or else reduce their stats to be the similar as a normal human arm (in durability and strength)?

Let me know if you have any questions.

Since Im too lazy to swap accounts could I ask about the arms a bit? If you note I state they are capable of being sliced like regular skin. While they are iron in nature, they're more like...hyper thin sheets of iron banded around a Vertebrate or sorts. The arms take damage like a regular arm can. Taking out the durability factor does that put it in acceptable levels?

After some discussion, you are approved. Have fun terrorizing Althanas with your character.
