I don't know where the term bunnying came from but I thought I remembered it also being a thing on Ayenee (where Dirks and I are from) but I could be completely wrong.

In Aus you can call someone a bunny and it means 'someone who has been taken advantage of', or tricked. Perhaps that's where it came from? I know it was used on GUA as well.
