"And this Malachi guy just flaunts his stuff around?" Rorton asked as he took another sip of his beer. "I think you've come to the right man for this job, Mister....?"

"Sparrow, mate," the obvious pirate took another swig from his bottle of rum while attempting not to fumble out of his chair, "I have found myself in quite the unique predictament, Mister Rorton. You see, I lost my ship to Malachi in a friendly pirate wager and now he has ownership of my precious Ebony Diamond. It's the fastest ship on Althanas so you could see why I would need it back, savvy?" The awkward waved his fingers around as though he were rolling some form of invisible coin between his digits.

"And that's the reason for the big guy there?" Any kicked back his chair and tilted his head to the anti-magic warrior known as Tobias Stalt. the Legend Killer had heard the name before; Stalt was a man who could get any mission done no matter the cost. To employ the both the enemy of the ether and the cobra for a singular mission was something that spoke spades about Captain Jack Sparrow.

"So, if you have the money to hire two mercs," Rorton's partner, RJ, the voice of reason in all things concerning the gunslinger, pointed out, "Why did you not use said money to gamble on rather than your ship?"

"Well that's not very pirate like is it?" Jack tilted forward and then backwards. Neither Rorton nor RJ could tell if the man was drunk, or a really good pretender. "And I didn't just hire two of you mate." Sparrows head nudged toward the window, which caused Rorton, RJ, and Stalt to walk over towards the glass and peer out at their partner for the mission.

RJ was the first to ask.

"Bah Gawd....is that....is that a thumper humpin whale lovin tank?"

"Quite," Jack said as he took another drink.
