Zelrius

Water swishing against the side of the boat is what Zelrius slept and woke to every morning. The great ship landed amongst the sand and rocks of a shore, bordered only by trees as far to the left and right can see are just wood and foliage. The Fallien boy climbed down from the rope and got down into the sand. He was quickly followed by a small squadron of twenty Jya Keep soldiers. These soldiers were those Zelrius was more than familiar with, and he trusted these men with his life. And any amount of gold the boy would be receiving this time around. Borrowing, not receiving The boy corrected himself in his mind. A glance back up at the ship told the same story everytime Zelrius ever did it. There were five dark skinned men still aboard, staying to watch the ship and lower the rope when the boy returned. His mission today was to drop into the city of Underwood, somewhere within Concordia, meet a banker he had made contact with, borrow the allotted amount of money and then be out. Simple enough, Or so he hoped.

Silence Sei

Emma Orlouge walked through the forest of Concordia with two books tucked neatly underneath her arm. She had been told by Anita, one of the three heads of Ixian Castle along with herself and their youngest sister Ella, that she wad to be the one to handle the financial aspect of their army. It was a lofty responsibility for the teenage girl but one she took quite seriously. Ever since their father passed, relations between the Avatar of Alerar's former allegiances and the Ixian Knights had become shaky at best.

Emma knew she needed to restore the same foundation that her father laid the groundwork for so many years ago, and one of the biggest supporters of the Orlouge clan was always Fallien. The desert land often employed 'Silence' Sei Orlouge for operations deemed too dangerous for their regular militia, and the patriarch of the clan quickly developed a close working relationship with the Jya herself. The IK were one of the few large knit groups welcomes into the xenophobic walls of Fallien, and often regarded as heroes even among the most skeptic desert dweller.

So when Emma heard tell that the Jya wished to bring an emissary into Underwood in order to borrow some funds from the Knights themselves, the faux banker quickly agreed to a meeting between the two. Her posture was perfect, straight as though she knew exactly what she was doing. She took deep calculated breaths to make sure nobody saw her as weak enough to target for the checkbook that laid beneath her armpit. As the smell of Underwood;s rebuilt state began to dance around her nostrils, she relaxed a bit. The clank sounds fro the smithy's hammer pierced her ears as she made her way to one of the local inns, The Humble Houseguest.

She entered the building to find several tables left vacant. She smiled; everything was just as she wanted it. Without any outside interference, the transaction and contract signing could go along quickly and without worry. She made her way to the cleanest looking table, a round redwood cut that still smelled of sawdust. A unremarkable waitress made her way over and Emma smiled to her with the grace that came with the Orlouge mantle. "I would have a glass of orange juice, please."

The waitress nodded and went back towards the bar of the inn. The 'Daughter of the Dragon' placed her checkbook and ledger down upon the table as she waited for her guest to arrive. Today would forge a new relationship with Fallien and the Ixian Knights. Today would start Emma Orlouge's alliance with the Jya.
