First entry, day 47

~ I have been on my own for quite some time now, Snaggs is truely my only company outside of the shadows. The trees are my shelter, their bark stained crimson... As if they were bleeding inside. I have carried this journal each day, a reminder. She always said it was good to write, that I would not find the comfort I seek on my own. She said that I needed to find myself... A constant thought... One that causes my bones to quiver... Who am I?~

Name: Laleh Valame (Pronounced Lal-lay, Val-lamb)
Age: Appears 24 by human years.
Race: High Elf
Weight: 123 lbs. Toned body build.
Height: 5’6”
Hair Color: Jet Black
Skin Color: Tan, an olive skin tone.
Eye Color: Crystal Blue
Languages known: Draconic, Elven, Common
Occupation: Outlaw, Bandit, Thief
Armor: Leather, Cloth cowl, Spiked armguards
Companion: Snaggs, a small dragon that hides in her hair. He can change colors depending on his moods.
The site I use for Draconic translations: http://draconic.twilightrealm.com/

History: History will be expanded on through further posts, for now I’ll leave it pretty vague.
Her father always taught her, “Be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Then you can be the director of the opponent's fate. Keep to yourself, don’t get distracted, above all, live... It’s the bandits code. “
Her code.

Poverty-stricken, starved, it was a life style known well to Laleh. She grew up in the slums of Raiaera with her father, step-mother, and two brothers. Throughout her life it was steal, or be stolen from and as a member of the Valame family one should never be the victim. This was the life she knew, each day it was about survival. How much gold could one steal and whomever got the most, was praised highly. Usually it was Laleh’s brothers, for that she envied their praise. It wasn’t until the end that Laleh learned how valuable it was to be as stealthy as possible.
Rumor in the local pubs was there was a sorcerer that collected strange and powerful objects. Of course, if she were to steal from this sorcerer timing had to be everything. She had managed to persuade her brothers to help her steal something from this old cripple, of course they took the bait. Laleh had planned on them trying to take all of her glory for themselves, she had planned their every move, and when it was all said and done she was the one that could sneak away with the prize.
Laleh had returned to her father with the sorcerer’s satchel, inside were enough gold pieces to feed them for weeks, jewels to sell, and a small blue egg. She gloated, her brothers had nothing to show, yet here she was finally praised for her actions. Weeks went by, Laleh was able to keep the blue egg that she had stolen and it was forever sitting in the satchel she kept at her side. Her brothers and her still pulled the same foolish antics, doing their best not to get caught, and Laleh was starting to surpass her siblings.
If only life could have always stayed that way but those days are long gone....
~To be continued...~

Personality:

Laleh is sharp tongued, witty, and shows little fear. She is powered by determination. Due to her history she is constantly struggling with trust. Laleh was taught to analyze people carefully, watching every movement, since anyone is capable of harm. She will do almost anything to stay alive or protect her companion Snaggs. There is a caring side to Laleh, although it’s rarely seen.

She does however have an irrational fear of spiders, mainly their webbing, causing her to flee from such beasts any chance she gets.

Skills:
Slight of hand: Laleh is skilled in thievery so she is able to pick pocket with ease.

Toxicology: Laleh knows her poisons well and can create various ones just by using plants found around the area. As well as sleeping toxins/blinding powder.

Hand to hand fighting: Laleh was trained in hand to hand combat, should she ever be disarmed.

Light footed: Due to being small to begin with, Laleh has learned to balance herself well, distributing her weight evenly so that she is quicker and more nimble. She’s highly acrobatic. Also making it easier for her to sneak up on her targets.

Abilities:

Shadow Dome: Laleh can at a moment’s notice collect shadows from objects around her. This creates a dome that can temporarily protect her from on coming moves. Should something stronger break through her shield, there is a small explosion due to all the shadows returning to their former place. Breaks on one hit from an average blow but the explosion stuns the opponent for a second. She can use this 3 times a day.

Shadow puppetry: Laleh was always able to manipulate her shadow to do her bidding. So long as there is some form of light to cast a shadow, she can make her’s grab hold of random objects. There is a 10ft. Stretch limit. She can carry objects of 10-20 lbs. For approx. 10 seconds, and anything below 10 lbs. For 15 seconds.
If someone can block the light, this should be no threat.

Vault jumping: Laleh is quicker than your average elf. She has the ability to jump at a moments notice at least five feet in any direction to quickly dodge an attack. She is twice as agile as a normal human, with the ability to react faster than most men can punch. (2× agility)

Equipment:

Two daggers that rest at either side of her hips. Made of iron.
(This is what they look like.) http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2012/220/2/9/fantasy_dagger_by_corderostorm-d5abtex.jpg

Various throwing knives, strapped around her right and left thigh. Made of iron. She has a total of five.

~ She said writing may help me find a way to sort my reckless thoughts.
Whore!
She knows nothing...~

With that journal writing Laleh hissed, her eyes narrowed at the page in front of her. She ripped the page violently from the books binding, wrinkling her nose as she tossed it in the air. Laleh whispered in draconic softly, her voice cold, “Valignat coi...” As soon as the words parted from her lips, a small blue dragon poked it’s head out from behind her hair. He cocked his head from side to side, before coughing out a small flame towards the paper his owner had thrown in the air. As quickly as he appeared, Snaggs had nuzzled her bottom jaw and returned to the tangled webs of hair. Laleh slowly stood up, her back resting against the tree trunk, her eyes watched the embers burn the journal entry as it fell to the ground.
“We should keep moving...” She muttered. With a swift leap she summersaulted to the ground and darted off.

Hey Sierra, welcome to the site and congrats for getting your profile done!

Your abilities look fine, I would like a simple edit into the blinding powder that it's six uses per thread and can be resisted. I'm assuming the capsules are spit in some form of fog? Could you clarify that slightly?

As for your daggers, Darts, and knives (oh my), could you tell me what they are made of and how many you have? They need to be T1 Materials (Iron, Real world woods, and basic animal hides). For number of knives and darts, I'd say you can have about 5 throwing knives, but two sleeping darts.

Also!

I talked to some other RoG peeps. It might be better for you, both for the experience and not getting dinged for another ability, to take the sleeping darts to the Bazaar and try to purchase them. You should have more than enough gold and it teaches you how to use the bazaar, how it works and what to expect etc.
