Personality: Roselle is manipulative and unfeeling. Her expressed emotions are only imitations of those she sees around her. Love is only a facade to abuse and take advantage of. She hates weakness and humans out of her feelings of abandonment.
History:
Roselle started as a measly rose, bloomed from the blood of a Nightingale who sacrificed its life to help a scholar pursue his love. When the scholar’s lover rejected him and Roselle was discarded into the street, Roselle declared that she would never be used or rejected again and took a human form.
Appearance:
Rose’s hair is red and layers down over her face like petals. Her skin is blush like light pink roses and her eyes are greener than the briar. She is thin with curvy hips and a small waste. She always seems to smell of roses but that just might be because her clothes are never without them.
Skills:
By Any Other Name- if it has a blossom, Roselle knows what the plant is and if it is edible or has healing properties. She doesn’t know how the flower can be used for but hey, it’s better than nothing.
I said Paint the Roses Red- Roselle is a wordsmith and skilled at the art of misdirection, manipulation, and seduction.
Rose Tinted Glasses- Even in the worst situations, Roselle isn’t discouraged and remains optimistic of the situation.
Abilities:
Bed of Thorns- Roselle can grow thorns wherever her skin is exposed. She must be in sunlight for the thorns to grow. If thorns are cut they can only be regrown once. Can only be used twice per quest. Thorns deal iron equivalent damage and are twice the size of normal thorns.
Every Rose has it’s Thorns- After taking damage Roselle’s nails and thorns deal poison damage. Poison is a natural poison, causing pain and nausea for one post if it enters the bloodstream. The poison can infect someone up to three times before she runs out for the day.
Nightingale’s Song- Roselle’s voice is enchanting and allures her target to follow one suggestion. This ability can only be used once per person per quest.
