So the Boston Althanacon happened. Now it should be UK's turn.
Mord has been talking about coming up part the way through England, and I have been talking about going over to Edinburgh to steal Flames of Hyperion for a drinking night with Twitch and I. Our friend Musashi (i.e. Callum) is returning from his cruise-liner job soon for the summer and this will give us time to all meet up a little easier.
Really this thread is just to discuss meeting up, if we can. Even if its just one or two people. I can say for definite that next weekend I will be in Birmingham for the UK Games Expo, so any geeks of awesome who are going there, pop by the Esdevium games stall (we're the massive one, in the main demo hall). At some point also later in the summer Gordon and I (Grumble and Philomel :P ) might go to Shrewsbury, which is pretty close to Wales at least, Mord :D
All in all I think this summer at least means that the Scots properly need a get-together. We need to meet up, go to Geek Retreat in Glasgow or Frankenstein in Edinburgh (how I love that place). All in all, fun times and YEY.
