Gavner frantically looked over his shoulder as he sprinted down the alleyway. Arms pumping furiously, breathing heavily, the vampire flew down the space between the two tall dark buildings trying to escape the ever pursuing dark eye of his attackers. Gavner had no idea who was chasing him or why they were chasing him bt he did know that his chasers were bigger, his chasers were stronger, and his chasers were more skilled than he was. Gavner had to escape the assailents or set up a trap for them to fall prey to Gavner in.
The vampire just remembered that he was on the streets of Beinost, a very familiar city that he knew like the back of his hand. The stealthy and skilled creature of the night veered sharply down an alley to the right and leapt greatly up into the cool night time air about ten feet in the air and onto the side of the wall to his left. With super natural strength and speed, the vampire put his other foot on the side of the stone wall and kicked off of it, tucking his legs and doing a double back flip while twisting around in the middle of the air to face the wall that used to be on the vampires right side when he was running.
Gavner stuck up his arms and grabbed on to the ledge of the gray stony flat roof. The swift creature of the night put himself on to the roof and crouched low into the shadows behind the stone ledge of the roof. The rough stone ledge was about two feet high and just hid Gavner from sight. He looked down and saw two dogs running down the alley yipping and barking in to the cool air of the deep dark night. Gavner straightened up and looked into the distance, confusedly. The vampire did not know why dogs would be chasing him and this confused Gavner. Dogs and wolves were usually very extremely friendly with vampires and the pair of creatures always loved being around each other.
“meow,” Gavner heard. He leaped up in the air and looked down to see three cats purring and rubbing against his legs. This confused the creature of the night even more so because cats always hated vampires with a burning passion.
“What the heck,” Gavner thought, “this is really weird.” The soft silky warm cuddly cute purring furry kittens were all meowing and happily rubbing against the vampire’s legs. Gavner wore a black traveling cloak with a red cape and his teeth and nails were black and sharp and extremely hard.
The creature of the night also had glowing red irises that burned with courage, hatred, and the resilience of the wonderful creatures of the night. Gavner was a fierce vampire, feared by most weak humans, especially since vampires were much more powerful than that of humans. Why would little kitties want to be cuddling up to this fierce creature of the night?

Gavner looked up and saw a large tower. On the extremely large dark stone made tower, Gavner saw a yellow glowing face that had the markings and hands of a clock on it.
“wow, that is strange,” Gavner, the resilient brave courageous creature of the night thought to himself, “I really do not remember a clock tower being in Beinost.”
The clock was glowing and very visible from far away. The face suddenly turned a different color a glowing red and an ominous bell sounded its peculiar chime. One chime- ding. Two chimes- ding ding. Three chimes- ding ding ding. Four chimes- ding ding ding ding. Five chimes- ding ding ding ding ding. Six chimes- ding ding ding ding ding ding. Seven chimes- ding ding ding ding ding ding ding. Eight chimes- ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding. Nine chimes- ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding. Ten chimes- ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding. Eleven chimes- ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding. Twelve chimes- ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding.
The last chime was very loud and scary and frightening and ominous! DING!!!!!! It shouted out in its angry ominous dingingness that a spooky bell usually makes in the middle of the night. The ding was enough to instill fear in to all of the hearts of all who heard the dinging dinginess of the dinging ominous scary bell. As soon as the scary dinging bell struck 12 Gavner noticed something new happening in his surroundings (besides the dinging). The sky was changing.
Besides the dinging dings of the dinging bell filling the air and making everything spooky and scary, a white light began to shine in the dark spooky night. The moon started waxing until it was a scary waxing crescent. Everything about this moon said “very spooky” ALL OVER IT!! It slowly waxed into the first quarter of the moon. Gavner remembered the time that he remembered remembering learning the phases of the moon, the word “phase” not to be confused with “phase” as in the phases of a child’s personality. They taught him in school when he was just a young youth of a little boy (child) before he became a vampire. The first quarter waxed into a waxing gibbous and then THE FULL MOON!!! This is not to be confused with somebody mooning somebody else- because nobody was mooning Gavner.
This was not the moon, mooning Gavner either because the moon cannot possibly moon anybody because it does not have a bottom to moon any body with. Slowly the moon mooned the city of beinost and began to turn blood red. Of course not the color of Gavner’s blood because vampire blood is black. It turned human blood red. The human blood red moon illuminated the whole city and made it a whole lot spookier, scaring everybody secretly, but of course nobody would admit it. Gavner was not spooked by the spooky moon though.

Just then, Gavner heard a whole bunch of growls like wolves. With the spooky dinging and the scary human blood red full moon mooning the city of Beinost (not that kind of mooning) the city seemed almost ten times spookier. The vampire looked down and saw the black silky soft kitties. Even though Gavner was not afraid by the spooky loud angry ominous dinging of the dinging bells, or by the scary odd human blood red color of the blood red moon that was mooning the whole city of beinost with its full moon, the baby kitties seemed to be very spooked by the spookiness of the night.
Despite Gavner and his vampire kin dred’s hatred of the stupid kitties and their mutual angry hatred and burning loathing with a detesting passion of each other, Gavner saw that these kitties loved him and so he scooped them up in his big strong vampire arms and he gently and nicely placed them in his empty black knapsack. He turned around and started for the other side of the roof when a tiger leapt up onto the stony hard grey and dark roof. Woah! Big big big kitty! Gavner was willing to assume that this kitty would not be like the other black soft silky smooth happy kitties and he would not be as friendly to Gavner as they were to Gavner. The creature of the night charged directly for the big angry kitty and leaped over the tiger with a great leap. Just as he was in midair over the big vicious and very very angry kitty, it was almost as if he ran smack dab into an invisible brick wall over top of the kitty. He fell down and landed on the tiger who roared in fury.
Gavner was a smart Gavner though, much smarter than the kitty or the first kitty in his knapsack or the second kitty in his knapsack or the third kitty in his knapsack or the first wolf that was chasing Gavner down the alley or the second wolf that was chasing Gavner down the alley or the third wolf that was thinking of chasing Gavner down the alley or the spooky bell that was dinging because it did not have a brain or the giant dark ominous and kind of evil clock tower that was holding the spooky dinging bells or the roof because it did not have a brain and it was made of stone.
Because Gavner was so smart, he made sure that he landed on his side onto the big kitty to not crush the baby kitties in his pack. The bampire leapt up and sprinted the way he came before the tiger came after him. Gavner heard the tiger on his heels and he reached the gap between buildings. With a mighty jump Gavner glided over the space and landed at the end of the second roof. As soon as he landed, he leapt again and continued this over nine rooftops. It almost felt as if he was flying through the air.

As Gavner continued to leap the huge lengths over the large spaces between the stone rooftops and wooden buildings. The buildings with stone rooftops were usually made of brick or stone or some other material where as the wooden roofs were peaked and usually the buildings were no doubt made of wood as well. The unforgiving distance of the space between the buildings shared at Gavner as he leapt over them every single time. He kept leaping until he saw a mother of a very big tiger to his right. Gavner saw the big big tiger and was almost alarmed at this sight. The creature of the night turned tail and ran to his left on the roof. As he turned left he saw another big feline approaching him from that side.
Gavner knew that at this rate probably all of the giant predator cats could make the great big leaps over the buildings and over the gaps to pursue Gavner and his band of cute black cuddly fluffy soft silly baby kitties that were in his pack and he knew that there was only one way to escape this. One way that most humans and even some vampires could not survive. This way was the crasiest, most insane, stupid yet adventuring and daring and nuts move that Gavner could ever have attempted yet he did. Gavner ran for the edge of the roof and jumped off, Falling into the large deep huge deadly drop that most humans of normal strength and many vampires of special strength could not survive in one million million million years, or maybe even a billion! Gavner was not even sure if he, the creature of the night, the brave creature, the valiant vampire, the super natural human, the crimson hissy face, could survive the fall.
As the vampire and all of the soft cute and cuddly black baby kitties fell to their doom, Gavner had been angled towards the side of the other building and he crashed through a super luckily placed window on the side of the building with a CRASH! The sheet luck of the placement of this window was amazing, one in a million, one in a billion, one in a trillion maybe even!! But that was no matter for Gavner the super magnificent fiesty brave and valiant, brilliant vampire and super not lackadaisical creature of the night. Gavner was brave- so brave in fact, that he was not a coward, he was not a pitiful creature, he was not scared even though he was in the mother of all spooky places and situations at this really spooky city of beinost, he was maybe a little stupid but one had to be stupid to make this decision. This particular time, for Gavner, the super risk taker of all risk takers, in the scary city of beinost with the human blood red full moon mooning down on the city, it paid off. When Gavner looked back on this moment and told every body about it he would be very proud of himself.

The full moon had regressed from human blood red to the moonish white color that the full moon always makes when it is not the human blood red moon color or the odd moon yellow color or the orange harvest moon color. In fact, it had changed from human blood red red full moon to normal not human blood red moon or orange harvest moon color about an hour ago very very very shortly after it had turned human blood red full moon color in the first place. As Gavner, the extreme and wonderful super duper valiant and amazing brilliant and brave awesome vampire, child of the night, and all three of his wonderful kitties that were silly and soft and cute and cuddly when they usually hate vampires crashed through the window, Gavner rolled on to his side and popped up on to his feet before he destroyed the kitties with his centrifugal force as he fell and destroyed the window. The very big cats that had been chasing Gavner had most likely jumped after him and the super awesome brave valliant creature of the night was now listening out the window to hear if the cats were falling to the ground. THUD! He heard as one of the tigers hit the ground. THUD! Another had fallen. THUD!
“sheesh, how many were chasing me?” Gavner the vampirey vampire mumbled in a soft mumble to himself.
The creature of the night turned back and saw a tiger lunging straight for the window but it ran into the clear nothingness as if it was a brick wall. Meow, meow, meow roooooaaarrrr! The cat shrieked as it fell to its doom many many many feet below. This was a very peculiar day. Just then the clock and all of the ominous spooky bells began to ding again. But this time it was only one ding. The ominous spooky ding rang out through the whole town for many long and scary seconds until it faded into the distance. The human blood red moon was shining again but Gavner could not see the moon that was mooning directly. He could only see the scary and horrifying horrific light that was coming off the moon and onto the spooked city of beinost.
Gavner, the awesome endeavoring and wonderful creature of the night turned back into the house and found himself standing in the parlor of a citizen of beinost. Somebody was walking up the stairs and came into view. He was an old man with pointed ears and slanted creepy eyes. He looked like a very very old ancient elf who might have been a monk before but nobody had a way of telling but elves usually never became monks so
Gavner was guessing that this man had never been a monk before. Elves were usually turning out to be archers or warriors of some sort. Gavner recalled the time where he adventured into the woods with other friends to get his friend black shadow a bow.
“Sir,” said the old elf, “can I help you?”

So the elf, who most likely was not a monk but probably was an archer or could have been a warrior but archers were more common for elves came up into the room and spoke to Gavner.
“Excuse me,” Gavner said to the not monk but probably archer and possibly warrior elf, “I did not mean to intrude. I was being chased by-“
“Tigers?” the very old, older than dirt ancient not monk elf asked as his grey hair blew back in the wind from the smashed open window that Gavner had come through in his endeavers versus the evil big giant kitties that tiger number one fell to the ground, so did tiger number two and three but tiger number four smashed into an invisible brick wall.
“Yes, how did you-“
“I knew,” said Mr. Elf, “because I used to be a monk.”
Gavner looked at this man who was an elf, puzzeldly. How could this man of an elf have ever been a monk? Monks were an extremely rare proffesion for elves, or so Gavner thought. Gavner was still confused with what this man elf’s being a monk had anything to do with knowing that tigers were going to chase Gavner. How did this man elf who was very old- older than most of the people in the city but really probably not older than any of the vampires in the clan because the vampires could live up to about two thousand years old if he was blooded to a prince at not a very young age but a decent age for being a prince.
“What does that have to do with anything?” Gavner asked the elf man who was very old and grey and still in his pajamas.
“Because I have had visions about this night.”
“Dreams?” Gavner, the valliant and vicious awesome amazing vampire asked confusedly. He had never really heard of visions before and was unsure of what the very very old man elf was referring to.
“I suppose you could say that,” the elf man said. “The point is that I have seen you coming here and I have seen why you come here. I have seen the dangers of this night and what will befall you and this entire city. And I know what you must do to get out. Trust me, there is so much worse that is going to come toni-”
Suddenly an arrow flew through the window, missing Gavner by mere inches and plunged deeply into the old man elf very unsuspecting monk who one would think should have been an archer. Gavner rushed forward to catch the man as he fell but the elf monk man pushed him, urging Gavner to run.
“If you do not run you will probably die in this very room! The future can be changed. Don’t let the archers catch you and when it happens you cannot escape, just accept it and take it!” the elf said. “Get there before they do!” Then he died.

Six more arrows flew in the window and lodged into the wall. PSHVVT!!!!! This startled Gavner but he could not stay here with his newly made monk elf old man friend who’s apartment the creature of the night so rudely barged into without entirely knowing what he was doing.
Gavner ran out of the door and two more arrows flew over his head and lodged into the wood above the awesome and great super natural creature. Gavner thought to himself how these archers must be very bad at attacking or they never got the chance to shoot at Gavner directly because Gavner was willing to bet that if it was the latter then he should probably get out of this place as fast as he possibly could. The vampire leapt down the stairs, skipping about twelve whole steps at a time. He could do that because he was a vampire. When he reached the door at the bottom he knew that there could be somebody outside so he kicked the door as hard as he could, throwing the whole door off of its hinges entirely. BANG!! Splinter splinter splinter. ROOOOAAARRRR!!!
“Xczunge!” Gavner cursed. He had in no way anticipated the tigers coming after him as soon as he left the house. The vampire took off down the alleyway still remembering the soft silky cuddly and warm happy purring kitties in his back pack. The thought of these little creatures that he hated but they loved him so he might as well love them gave him hope that he should keep on going. Gavner got somewhat of a boost as a protector has when he must protect his protectee. He knew that he should protect these kitties. Then another arrow flew past his head. Pshvvvt! Arrows began coming down from every direction. Time suddenly seemed to slow as Gavner looked up and saw an arrow coming directly for his head. He quickly darted sideways and looked back as he was running to see the arrow lodge directly into a tiger’s forehead.
“Yes,” Gavner said with a smirk. Then he saw two more tigers come out of alleys that he passed and begin chasing him as well. Gavner shook his head and began to run even faster. Just then the bell began its ominous spooky dinging noise again. This time it dinged twice. Ding! Ding! The normal white moon began to turn a human blood blood red again and the light ominously shone over the entire city. All was still for a second. The tigers had stopped chasing Gavner, the arrows had ceased to fire and it seemed like Gavner was the only thing that was moving amidst this entire scene. Then all of a sudden a giant thundering noise rang out through the atmosphere. PKKKKKKKSHHHHH!!! Gavner saw a bright bright flash of light illuminate the whole sky even brighter than the white moon did!
Gavner began to sprint as hard as he could, trying to find cover from the lightening, the new disaster that had befallen.

Arrows sprayed from all direction and five tigers were all attacking the vampire. Suddenly a huge gigantic electric awful horrible flashy blinding bolt of lightening flew down and zapped one of the big evil gigantic kitties behind Gavner and burnt it to a crisp. Nothing was left of the tiger but a charred pile of ashes and the smell of burnt fur. As Gavner ran down the alleyway a thought of cake flew through his mind. Out of all things in the world to be thinking, Gavner thought of a nice big cake that was fluffy and soft and tasty and covered in thick creamy vanilla frosting that just added the best taste to the piece.
Another bolt of lightening came down a mere 10 feet from Gavner, jolting him out of his state. The vampire now was frantically looking for a place that he could take refuge from all of the awfly horrible things that were coming down at and around him. Gavner looked to the right and saw a door. He veered towards the port hole and kicked it in with his amazing muscular and super duper strong vampire leg, destroying the puny wooden door that was nothing compared to Gavner. He burst into the structure and looked back. The tigers ran to the door but when they reached the opening all four of them ran face first into the space of the door as if it were a brick wall, once more like the peculiar phenomenons that were happening tonight. It was almost as if the tigers could not enter any buildings.
Just then, as he was looking out into the streets of the really super spooked city of beinost which was spooked not only now from the spooky dings of the scary ominous bell tower, but was also scared from the human blood red color of the human blood red full moon that was no longer human blood red at this time but it was still a full moon that looked white, Gavner saw a shadowy figure step into view from the door. The white not so spooky full mone shone down on the city and the sinister looking character as he straightened up and looked towards Gavner. This time, the vampire was sure that his assailent would be able to follow him into the house. Gavner turned and spotted a dark and ominous staircase but despite the shadows he still decided that he was going to go up it to evade his attacker. He jumped and made it halfway up the staircase. Gavner heard a THUD as an arrow lodged into the step below him and he flew up the rest of the stairs. The courageous yet protective creature of the night found a hallway that went right and he took it , even though the other side went left.
He heard a noise behind him and Gavner spun around and crouched in the shadows. His enhanced eyesight allowed him to see the figure dressed in black make it up the staircase and look both ways down the hallway. He then turned his head slowly and looked directly at Gavner. The attacker turned and started walking towards him.

Gavner looked left and right with his eyes only as the assailant slowly walked towards him. Gavner dared not move a muscle because he was in stealth mode. The man walked up to Gavner who was crouching in the hall and stopped right in front of him. Before the strong and courageous awesome creature of the night could react, the evil sinister man grabbed Gavner’s cloak with his iron firm grasp and picked him up in the air. Gavner was about to act like his super vampire self with his awesome vampire skills.
He wanted to kick the man in the stomach so he would drop Gavner and when Gavner was dropped and the man was doubling over Gavner would smash him over top of the head and throw him down the stairs. Gavner would then turn the other way and sprint down the hall and get to the roof so he could start running and jumping on tops of the beinost roofs. If there was no way to the roof Gavner could always use plan B which was to find a room and bust out a window. He would then be back at square one but Gavner had a better plan which was to get up on to the roofs in the manner that he had first gotten up there. Then he would attack the archers and get rid of them and start gliding from roof to roof.
But the most peculiar thing happened when Gavner went to kick the attacker. Gavner seemed to be completely paralyzed from the waist down. The man’s face was covered with a mask but Gavner could tell that this evil man who was his awful attacker was smirking under his cowardice of a mask. Not all masked men were cowards, for example Gavner’s friend Black Shadow always wore a mask. Ganver had never known what his friend’s face looked like, nor did he want to know, but this man was a coward for hiding behind his mask. The man reeled back and threw Gavner extremely forcefully. So forcefully, in fact, that he smashed through a wall and then through the stone exterior of the house. He was not out on the spooky outside street with all of the dangers and now the evil archer inside the house. PKKOW!!!! Pkkow pkkow! Yelled the lightening angrily from the sky as three bolts of plasma flashing light ripped through the atmosphere by Gavner and startled the crap out of him, figuratively not literally of course. Gavner fell to the ground and the tigers immediately began to chase after him. Arrows started to fly through the air and one missed the awesome valliant creature of the night’s head by a few mere inches. The arrow flew past Gavner and directly into another tiger who roared and started to jump and attack the other lions. The tigers fell into a massive tiger pile and a giant bolt of lightening came down from the heavens and disintegrated all six of them. Seven more tigers jumped out from an alley and began chasing Gavner again though.

Just as Gavner started down the alley again the bell began to ding. “Ding!” the ominous and super duper scary and spooky bell dinged, “Ding!” it dinged twice. “Wait,” Gavner thought, “didn’t it just ring not so long ago?” “Ding!” it dinged a third time. Once more the dinging of the bell dinged and rang out through all of the whole spooked and scared city. Gavner was used to this ambiance and he was sure that the rest of the city was too but based on what was happening, bizarre things must not be all too extremely uncommon in this town.
The white bright full moon that was brightly shining in the dark and ominous spooky night, scaring everybody, was slowly corrupting once more from its beautiful wonderful pearly white yet still spooky and somewhat scary white ish color to once again a blood red but not vampire blood color because vampire blood is black but a human blood red blood red color that shone all throughout the sky like a beacon to the people of the world. Or maybe not the world, just the city of beinost perhaps. But then again who knew how many people were even out to see or notice the phenomena? This was one of the oddest things that was happening all night but then again tonight was a pretty strange night.
Gavner began to run further down the alleyway when all of a sudden the tigers began to act once more as if they were running into an invisible brick wall. Arrows began to bounce off of this invisible barrier as well, but Gavner, the wonderful and awesome noble creature of the night decided that he did not want to be caught by the archers chasing after him. Gavner turned and ran to the end of the alley, bursting through and out into an open plaza. Even though it was dark the plaza was a market place and people were roaming the area and shopping for things in the late night. It certainly would not have been what it was in the day, but there were quite a few people there. Gavner realized how brave these people must be to be out in the extremely spooky night and what with everything that was going on and all. He was surprised that these humans who were weak were not throwing their arms up in the air and running in a very disorganized fashion in circles and left and right and up and down and north and south and east and west and north then south and veering all around screaming their heads off because it was so spooky. Sometimes Gavner did not understand humans, except his friend Black Shadow who was a human, but one of the strongest and most resilient humans that he had ever seen. Black shadow was always the outlier in all of the broad generalizations that Gavner made about every human in every which way. Gavner checked over his shoulder to make sure that he was not being followed, then put up his hood and walked into the crowd.

“Sir,” a man shouted at Gavner, “Can I interest you in a rat on a stick?”
Gavner shook his head and turned away.
“How about a candy cane?” Another which was on the side that Gavner turned asked him. Gavner shook his head and began to walk down the street of the marketplace.
“Baloooons!!” A man shouted as he held a bunch of strings that had multi colored spheres at the end of them up in the air.
“Private assassins for hire!”
“Step right up for a Pony ride!”
“Come feed the elephants!”
Gavner looked around and he saw an actual shop that was not a stand. The shop said Weapons Dealers United at the top. Before another merchant could shout something at him, the super brave and awesome creative creature of the night went into the shop. There were all kinds of amazing and super shiny things in there. Swords, knives, maces, and axes. Arrows with shiny tips of different colors. Black leather quivers were hanging on the wall as well. A man was behind the front desk and he had his back turned to the door and was creepily hunched over eating something.
“Um, sir?” Gavner asked the man, “do you have any-“
The man suddenly turned and hissed, this awful screeching noise cutting Gavner off. One of his eyes were completely white and the other was very dark.
"AHH!" Gavner cried as he abruptly sat upright. He looked around and found himself in the room of the inn that he had checked in the previous morning. It was now the middle of the day.
"Oh gosh," Gavner said, "it was only a nightmare."
