One event that will take place today is the voting for our official Althanas Day superlatives. This will operate similarly to the Althie Awards, but they will be far more casual, and be awarded in only a 24 hour span.

The first stage will be nominations. We have 10 different categories. You may nominate one character and one writer for each. In the case of shared names (for example, Max Dirks) please specify if you mean the character, or the writer: Max Dirks (character), or Max Dirks (writer).

I saw this and thought it a great idea, but felt that since I've only just returned after such a huge hiatus, it wouldn't be fair to offer my now outdated opinions. Great to see some of the once younger writers develop and new names and faces being huge parts of the site; hopefully over time stuff like this regains popularity.
